Nice breakfast

Cleanliness of the room. Front desk staff was extremely helpful particularly Annette.
We waited 15-20 minutes for the eggs and Canadian bacon. The hotel is severely understaffed. There was only 2 employees initially to handle everything. It’s a little unreasonable for front desk to handle cleaning up areas. Food hours weren’t great. It’s spring break time and it would be open a little longer. Also, no indication the pool was closed until we walked to it. In addition, fire alarm went off twice.
The worst part was someone was smoking on the second floor and it reeked of marijuana.

Close to activities, restaurants, and expressway
Some areas of the room were not clean, or rather, needed attention. The fold out couch to bed looked like the same sheets and blankets had been used several times. There were also areas that needed extra cleaning/dusting.

Breakfast was good , location was also fine .
It would be great if you can allow check in 15- 30 min earlier to check in time given ,at least to families especially if they drove from far away and they show up a little earlier.

My first room was dirty hadn't been cleaned they moved us to another room where the toilet flooded our floor and we were made to stay in the room then at the end of our stay offered one day free stay for the 2 nights we had to spend in the room.

The location and spacious room
The A/C unit kept me up the entire first night with an odd scratching noise. I called the front desk about 11pm but they did not answer. The next morning I called again and the maintenance tech came up and cleaned the filter which seemed to help. However, I was exhausted from no sleep.

The bed was clean, the bathroom was clean but around the toilet rim was a little dirty. The staff was friendly, and very accommodating to our needs.

Loved the breakfast, staff was very kind and helpful, room was a nice size for my family.
Found a couple bugs in our bed, the pool was closed, had to go to the front desk to get sheets for the pull out couch, housekeeping didn’t clean the room while we were gone, sinks were dirty, people were loud until 1-2am.

We picked the hotel for the pool and the pool was closed due to construction. We had to travel over to lifetime fitness if we wanted to use the pool

I thought my card was preauthorized but when I got to the hotel it was declined. It has about $500 on the card however I had to declare identity theft after my info was leaked so my accounts are frozen. Sadly my apartment has a gas leak and I was told to vacate but I have nowhere to stay and really just wanted a shower. I was told I'd be reimbursed but I cannot get access to my money to put up until either Consumers Energy or my renters insurance completes my claim. So I'm home with no gas still, 8 days later. At least tonight is warmer than the freezing rain the other night. But the hotel is great. Very clean and super professional front desk clerk. I was hoping to clean up before court but it's too cold to shower in freezing cold water. Maybe I'll come back as soon as I get my taxes any day now. Nothing is the hotels fault.
I have no complaints about the Hyatt. I love the air in the hotel, it reminds me of Aria in Vegas.

incredibly close to food, shopping and the volleyball location.
no pool. however they do have an agreement with lifetime fitness that you can use their facilities. only thing is with kids I didn’t want to drive a couple miles away for them to swim.

I booked this hotel specifically for the pool because it was my daughters 7th BIRTHDAY and she wanted to swim but the pool was closed

It was clean and they have good coffee.
I asked if we could void the card on file and charge to another card. The associate said yes took the card and charged it. he never said the original charge would stay on the card for 14-30 days else we would have left it instead of having both of our cards now held up for one night room. Then the hotel and bank keeping putting me against the other having me go back and forth to debate who hasn’t released the funds. The lack of information caused an unnecessary issue.

The hotel was in a great location and seemed very clean (although we only made it to the check in desk).
Upon check in, the front desk staff asked if we knew the pool was closed. We were not aware of that at the time of booking (the day before arrival). They were under the impression booking.com had that information listed for us which it did not. We have a 6 year old who ONLY cared about swimming so that was going to be a big problem for us! The staff was very understanding and offered to cancel our reservation at no charge. They were very kind and willing to help. I felt bad to cancel the reservation because the hotel looked so nice and the location was great. I hope we get a chance to come back and give it another go!

Lanesha was awesome!! Great customer service. She explained the handbook from front to back do's and don't. The lobby was clean.
I didn't get the high floor that I booked. My bed was too low, the refrigerator didn't work when I got in. However, it was replaced . Kids running down the hallway and slamming doors till 3am. The shower was low pressure, spitting water instead of a full stream.

Location was good
Even though I booked a queen room for myself and my brand new husband months in advance. Once we arrived we were told we had to be downgraded to a double bed room with what seemed to be twin beds. Without explanation. Not sure what the point of booking months in advance was to have to sleep in separate beds a day after our wedding.
