I had an amazing time during my weekend at The Beach House Inn. The staff is super friendly, room awesomely clean, and the bed was so comfy. I also had the room with the BEST view, who could ask for anything better! :)

Everything was wonderful! Front desk associate was kind and very helpful with dining recommendations. Beautiful view of the water and relaxing atmosphere. Only downside is the lack of parking. Regardless, we will stay here again when we come back to Fort Bragg.

Great hotel. We had a room overlooking Pudding Creek. We got to sit on the balcony and watch cormorants, ducks, geese and egrets. It was enjoyable to sit and have coffee as the sun came up. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The heater worked very nicely. Shower was awesome and had great water pressure.

It was a wonderful trip because I was with my daughter. Our receptionist was nice but a bit frazzled. The hot tea in the lobby was wonderful. Unfortunately the room reeked of dog pee. We didn’t complain because it was a holiday weekend and most places were totally booked and the bed and bathroom were very clean. The dog friendly rooms need some deep carpet cleaning and the bathrooms need the floors bleached. The vents need sanitizing as well. You can hear the freeway but the rain helped cover the sound of cars.

Quality of the room is great. Balcony is awesome. My only dislikes are the quality of the mattresses and the heating/air conditioning. Otherwise, we love it at the Beach House!

Jorge greeted us when we first got there. He was extremely accommodating very helpful and kind! He hooked us up with the owners suite, which was superb! Loved the cushy bed & pillows, having 2 TV’s And a fully functional kitchen! The ‘fireplace /heater’ was lovely as well! Even though we hit the rainy season we really enjoyed our stay. It was a beautiful suite with all the amenities you could imagine! We will be back and hope to enjoy the hot tub next time and walk over the trellis. Do keep in mind that Fort Bragg rolls up their sidewalks on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (probably primarily in the winter months). We will be sure to take note of that next time. We Will return & wish to stay at this same room!

The location is great. But the rooms smell like dead rats and fungus. It might be because of the wet conditions. Glad we stayed only for one night.

Alright this review is hard to make because the hotel was very nice, clean and accessible. the thing is that during our stay we were without power almost 80% of the time, and it sucks because it was a special occasion for us as a couple, we totally understand that is not the hotel’s fault but nature's, it’s a shame that we had such a poor experience due to the weather. Let me be clear, this is a very specific case and review under the circumstances we experienced!!! I’m pretty sure that the hotel and experience is much better with nicer weather!

First of all we got the wrong room, we booked a king bed with jacuzzi and we got a 2 queen bed. The mattress was very old and squeaky, very uncomfortable to sleep in. Coffee maker didnt work.

It’s an amazing stay for the price , few 4 star average abrupt customer service . I remember breakfast included in the booking. No breakfast service . In the shower no place for soap holder . Have to bend down each time to pick up soap and wash cloth . Poor design .

We took a spontaneous drive to the coast to get some fresh air and vitamin sea. Found this little gem last minute and it was fantastic. Clean, comfy, economical, right off the main road and close to the beach. Highly recommend and will be coming back again!

Room was spacious and clean. Parking was challenging because the parking lot was very tight. We once came and there was no parking so the front desk said to park in the handicap This was not walking distance to any food or grocery, so we had to make sure we got whatever we needed before going back to room at end of night.

Our room was by the enrty door, so it was very noisy as people were slamming the door through out the night. We had poor sleep because of the door slammed and loud noises. Our faucet was hard to turn on, it was stuck and you have struggled with yo turn on and off. The bed wasn't very comfortable either.

I reserved a king without view but was given a walkup king with a view southwards across the inlet, and a double bathtub next to the bed. Had to lug baggage up the stairs, no lift. Little things needed maintenance, shower fan screeched and desk chair sank under me. Furnishings looked "fully amortized" generally. Maid never came in during my 5 day stay. Tossup as to whether I'd stay again.

Very convenient lodging if visiting Fort Bragg or the surrounding area as it is located right on the main road through town and very close to Glass Beach. Was able to check in early, although the young lady at the front desk wasn’t very welcoming. Nice large tv, clean microwave, and mini-fridge in room. Mattresses seem dated; classic box spring so not the most comfortable sleep we’ve ever had but completely acceptable. A few negative comments about the room and experience. There is included high speed wifi, though the range is limited and doesn’t seem to stay connected for very long. Cell service is spotty in the area so the convenience of wifi was a plus, but ultimately was barely usable in the room we were staying in. The tv was seemingly new and worked fine until it didn’t; the Netflix app froze and the tv became unresponsive resulting in us calling the front desk. Thankfully, onsite maintenance was able to fix the issue. Huge thanks to the evening hotel attendant for getting that sorted out! The bathroom is modern but random items that stood out were prolific rust on a floor vent, a somewhat large tear in the fabric of the included ironing board, some suspicious brown smear on the ceiling above one of the beds, and finally the ice machine available to guests was severely corroded and unsanitary. Although an affordable option and rated ‘Excellent’ on Expedia we likely won’t stay there again as the experience was closer to what you’d expect at a cheaper chain of hotels.

The staff was very kind but cleanliness was lacking. Walking up to our room the hallway rug and stairs were filthy. Looked like halls hadn't been vacuumed in months. Opening the door to our room we were hit with the most pungent smell of BO. The room smelled terribly. The bed headboards were visibly slimy with head marks. It was pretty hard to stomach. Then the noise. There was another hotel room below us with men screaming all night long. From 11 pm until they finally quieted at 5:30 am. We could not sleep a wink. It's not our job to confront other guests so we suffered through the screaming but we really wish the hotel staff had intervened with the guests who kept everyone else awake. And provided us a more hygienic stay.

Wonderful, little cozy hotel. I must say, though, for a woman who’s always had a hard time, trying to put makeup on in hotel rooms and bathrooms, because they are always so poorly lit, this place has bright lights and was well lit. Kudos who ever did the light fixture designing, as poorly lit hotel rooms and bathrooms are one of my biggest pet peeves.

The room was clean and comfortable. It was modern. It overlooks the estuary. We had a spacious balcony. It was so beautiful seeing the reflection of the sun and clouds in the estuary water. The staff were very nice.

Nice, clean, spacious room, but there was a funny smell - almost like a former guest had smoked and it wasn't sufficiently aired out. We left the slider door open though and it was fine!

The staff was very friendly. The room we had was a little noisy when people walked in and out, our room was right next to the main entrance of building 300 but it wasn't too busy so it wasn't too bad. The room was clean but the carpet was a little musty. Overall, it was a good stay, good for the price.

our room, was exceptionally clean and very comfortable! The view from the balcony was delightful! I’d stay there again! checkin was easy,we were made very comfortable,parking superb! The only comment I have is that the renters who were above us were inconsiderate, of those below them! They sounded as if elephants were stomping on us, extremely noisy with no caring! This went on into the early morning hours! Other than that,we’d stay there again!
