We rented a family room: Beds are comfortable. We found roaches in the kitchen. The garbage disposal didn't work. The utensils were not clean.

The man at the desk was RUDE, yelled at customers before us, didn't give us a good room since heat was noisy and bath was not hot or clean. They need to clean the grout and repaint where paint is chipping. Needed to ask for another blanket. Overall Motel 6s have been better than this place. And they did not honor the rate given when I moved the date by 1 day. They demanded an extra $100 deposit upon arrival and this was just weird. It takes 5 days to get that refunded.

We like thjs property for its proximity to family that lives in Santa Barbara as well as for its affordability. This is our third stay, but this time we both found the bed extremely uncomfortable--way too soft with flimsy dips and curves. Also several of the electrical outlets and USB ports were not functioning, which was a minor problem compared with the bed issue. Not sure if we'll be back.

Oasis was very clean and had a nice vibe. Conveniently located not far from the SB Mission and eateries. Go for breakfast to a mid century modern Farmer Boy which has a terrific menu and friendly service, good atmosphere. Oasis is priced well and the beds are so comfortable! Interiors updated

This place was awful. It’s essentially a very overpriced cheap motel on a busy street. The room was extremely dirty and the bed was so uncomfortable that I barely got any rest after a long day of traveling. The bathroom sink didn’t drain and there was even a used bar of soap with hair on it left in the shower when I arrived. Absolutely avoid this place.

This was a last minute book and turned out I had very comfortable stays. The room was clean, nice and quiet. It's also on the State street which was closed to where we hang out. I would come back if I visit Santa Barbara again.

The guest was actually someone First Christian Church in Lompoc was helping out, not Jo Ann, who is the Financial Secretary. The young woman who stayed there was very happy with her experience.

Rooms were clean, quiet, and updated. Grounds were very nice and staff was very nice and helpful too! Rates were super reasonable and I will be definitely coming back here again.

The room was dated with some renovations. Check in was easy but the thermostat was broken and while we're packing up, we found a mask under the sheets of one of the beds.

I think we had room 3. Tucked away in the corner. The room was clearly updated and the tile in the restroom was beautiful. The only negative thing was the old building smell. Not much you can do about that. I plan on staying again. Not sure if it’s because it’s off season, but the price was good as well. We had a single king bed room.

Nice enough place for out needs; clean, comfortable, decent amenities (fridge, microwave). Parking is a little limited. Our next door neighbors were very inconsiderate (loud music, car horn honking middle of night)….definitely not motels fault. Nice restaurants within walking distance.

The property was close to my nephew's home and was close to my price range. The room had all basic needs but wasn't a Hyatt or Hilton by any means. When asking staff for additional blanket, they only had 1.

My room was clean and well equipped. It felt safe and the bed was comfortable. The employees are friendly and helpful. But, the pool is not heated. So, if you are interested in swimming in a pool, look elsewhere! If you're just coming for a visit to Santa Barbara, this place is a good choice.

This place was just awful. We paid $409 total for a one night stay in their 'updated' family room (the largest they have). It was pricey in part due to it being a Saturday night in October. This place is a dump. It had a single wall AC unit that was inadequate and couldn't push any air into the adjoining room with the third bed and kitchen. It has a crappy hard futon and they call it a bed. Had to open the windows but the neighbors were out til 1:30 in the morning - outside our windows smoking. They have a no smoking on the walkways policy but don't police. They were loud too. You can't always control awful guests, but this is the kind of crowd this place draws. When I informed the desk person in the morning she said they have a policy that guests can't smoke on the balconies. I told them it's a useless policy if they don't inform people of it. I recommend staying at a no-smoking facility. This place is an old, old motel. The pool was clean but it faces State Street. It would have been okay at $200/night - but at the price it was absurd. Would have been much better off at a Motel 6 with actual air-conditioning. These old facilities with walkways by your door that were cheaply constructed just convey so much noise. Our room was by the staircase so every person and their rolling luggage are literally 5 feet from your head through a single pane piece of glass while you are trying to sleep. Absolutely awful.

I know Santa Barbara well but it was my first time at this property. I had a great stay! Location is perfect - bus stop on the same block and a plaza with restaurants and a supermarket across the street. The motel does not look much from the outside but once you are in the room it is actually pretty good value for the money - rooms are large, with a fridge/microwave/coffee maker and bathrooms are newly remodeled and clean. The only point to bring to their attention is internet speed - a bit shaky at night, sometimes intermittent connection.

Stayed downstairs, with a unit above. Very little noise insulation, and unfortunately had some noisy occupants above, clomping about and playing music, making it difficult to sleep... Otherwise, a pleasant little place...

It was so peaceful and beautiful, it really did feel like an oasis. The staff was very friendly. Even house keeping was nice and friendly. Even though it was a short stay it felt like a home away from home. Thanks, we will definitely be back!!!
