We are so fortunate to have stayed at your wonderful Inn. We especially thought your staff was welcoming and helpful. The breakfasts and afternoon teas are indeed special and delicious. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. All the public rooms were warm and cozy and decorated for Christmas. Having the fireplaces lit during the evening brought a special glow to the room too. Again, thank you for a lovely stay at the Francis Malborn House Inn.

Love the character of the house. The old wood floors! The tea time was amazing. Such a spread the put our nevermind the delicious breakfast. Our room was small but enough for what we needed. Will definitely book next time in Newport.

The Francis Malbone Inn is an amazing place to stay. Period furnishings and details, gourmet breakfast and a beautiful afternoon tea with sweet and savoury treats baked fresh daily. Staff is amazing, very friendly, accommodating and full of information about the area! Great location, walk to great restaurants and bars. Quaint shops all up and down the streets.

Our stay at The Francis Malbone Inn was PERFECT!!! Check in was easy and the location is in short walking distance of the wharfs... full of shops and dining options!!!! The Inn is impeccably clean, charming and the service is OUTSTANDING!! The breakfast was delicious and afternoon tea/snacks delightful. Huge shout out to Karen who was super friendly and helpful!! She provided us with information and suggestions regarding the Newport area. We will definitely be returning!

We traveled to Newport, RI on Sept 13th and stayed at the Francis Malbone House two nights. This house is a wonderful project of love as they have restored this home and preserve it so well. We thoroughly enjoyed the morning breakfast options and the afternoon teas. The management team is exceptional and really care that your stay is awesome. A special thank you to Sue that handled the kitchen and breakfast. She is wonderful and we feel very lucky to have experienced her hospitality! All this service as they also preserve this amazing property. I hope you will try it some time soon!

Our stay was perfect. The bed was huge and comfortable, the room large and beautifully appointed, location was fantastic, breakfast was delicious, but the outstanding staff definitely put it over the top. We were sad to go. This stay was the highlight of our road trip.

The Francis Malbone House far exceeded our expectations! It was very charming and quaint. The little hospitality touches everywhere made the stay so enjoyable: music in the rooms, fireplaces, turndown service with robes in the evening, afternoon tea and so much more! Not to mention it is in a prime location next to all the shops and restaurants. This is a must stay location!

Wonderful historic inn furnished with antiques and featuring a lovely courtyard with a fountain and flowers. The lavish afternoon tea and included breakfast were a treat. The location was ideal for exploring the shops and cafes along the harbor. Free on-site parking was a bonus. Dominic on the front desk and Sue the breakfast server were friendly and very helpful. We had a wonderful stay. This was my second time here and I would love to come back again someday.
