Loved the location of the property, the rooms were so clean and private. The food for breakfast was fantastic, great choice that was hot and fresh but most of all the staff were amazing. Each member was so attentive to our needs but specifically Lucy went out of her way on both of our stays to make sure we got excellent service, with giving us recommendations to restaurants, coffee shops etc to organising us transportation. The staff also surprised me with a little birthday treat as I was visiting as part of a late birthday trip! It wouldn’t have felt so special without Lucy or the other staff members.

This is a decent 5* boutique hotel near the French Quarter. Overall I had a great experience. Below is my honest feedback.
+ The hotel has a wonderful almost Edinburgh-like gothic charm about it. This charm was enhanced by arriving on Halloween Day.
+ The reception area has a lovely plush feel about it, especially with the grand piano.
+ The staff were super-sweet and went above and beyond the call of duty to help ensure my stay was comfortable. I spoke to Mr Will and Mr Tim.
They spoke fluent English and bent over backwards to serve well. Every hotel should have a Mr Will and Mr Tim. They are a credit to the hotel.
+ Mr Tim gave me a kind and thoughtful gift of a bag of green tea and a bag of coffee as a thank you for staying at the hotel. He also actively sought my feedback.
+ The breakfast was nice. A good variety of food.
The pork sausages were super-tasty.
Here are aspects that would help improve experience even further:
- The fried bacon at breakfast lacked a bit of flavour. It was nice to see them serving fresh celery and cucumber juice.
- I would have preferred if they offered normal baked beans alongside the flavoured baked beans.
- The chocolate croissants were nice with fluffy French pastry but I didn't feel there was quite enough chocolate filling.
- The rooms were a bit smaller than I imagined and the view from the bedroom window was a bit uninspiring. I was expecting more considering I booked an Executive room. However, the rooms were neat and modern, and everything worked well. It was even intuitive how to turn lights off!
- I arrived at the hotel at 11 pm. The kitchen was closed and no food was available. The check in, including waiting to be checked in, took almost half an hour and the hotel bar closed by the time I reached it. I therefore had to go out to get food and a beer. Some kind of food should be available late at night.

good location right in the heart of old district, good food, very well maintenanced facilities, friendly and proffessional staff. Roof top is beautiful do not miss it go for happy hour and enjoy the view of the city
