Room was clean and neat. Walls could look stunning with some paisley wallpaper and perhaps a small rug on the floor? Entrance lovely, Everything clean and neat. Breakfast spread was fantastic and the outdoor garden seating area was whimsical and magical! Welcome on arrival was lovely, friendly, warm and very helpful/informative.
The beds only had sheets on, one pillow and no blankets - they looked a little like hospital beds. There was one blanket in the wardrobe which I only found the second night. Breakfast boxes given on excursion day could have been a little nicer? E.g. A small yoghurt, an apple, a sandwich. Otherwise thankful for them! Also perhaps being offered a hot drink with the breakfast boxes would have been VERY nice. The shower mechanism was in a very awkward place inside the shower and we kept bumping our elbows into it while moving in the shower - maybe see if that could be moved?

Very good location in Santa Croce close to Vaporetto stops and restaurants.
This is at best a two star hotel. While the lobby bar and restaurant areas are very pleasant the classic double room is basic, with peeling walls in the bathroom and nothing other than a bed and desk chair to sit on. more like a hostel room than in what they claim to be a three star hotel.
