Excellent location for attending a gig at Wembley Stadium, easy to reach from Paddington station. That, and air conditioning in the room, were the main reasons we booked here (we attended a gig during a searing heatwave and knew we would need to be able to escape the heat). Very expensive for what you get, but I guess that’s central London for you - and when temps were soaring, that air conditioning felt worth every penny.
Breakfast was mediocre, and was served in a very cramped (and extremely hot and uncomfortable) downstairs room. Decorations a bit old fashioned.

All the staff were welcoming. My room was pleasant and comfortable. Hardly any noises from the outside could be heard in the room. The hotel isn’t far to walk from the Baker Street tube station and situated in a pleasant area of the Westminster borough. The Madame Tussaud and the Sherlock Holmes Museum are reachable by walking from the hotel.
The breakfast is served with a smile and helpful staff who provide a welcoming manner. There are hot or cold options. The cooked breakfast is well presented and tastes very well.
The room door was sticking a little when opened and closed. I didn’t like the decor of the room, the wallpaper had a yellow background and chintzy style pattern. I’m sure many other guests would like the wallpaper (it’s a personal taste). According to the reception staff, other rooms had plain decor.
