About this house rental
Situated in St Petersburg, this attractive house for $315 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Bring the whole family and enjoy the Florida sun! Sunny, fully fenced yard, heated pool, amazing shorebirds- paddleboards and kayaks too! This home is fully equipped to provide a fun and carefree vacation experience for families of all ages. Soak in the Florida sun while the kids and pets play in the private and fully fenced yard. Corner waterfront lot offers a tropical paradise and the heated pool ensures year round use (optional pool baby gate gives added peace of mind). The 20 ft dock, on the confluence of two saltwater canals, is great for fishing or watching for dolphins, manatees and pelicans. There are 3 families of nesting Blue Herons that provide great entertainment at dusk each night. We have paddleboards and a kayak available for use. Younger kids will love the well stocked toy collection. We have baby items too (high chair, pack n plays. For your convenience the home is also equipped with wireless internet and satellite TV ( no additional cost) Owners are local and less than 5 minutes away, enabling us to make sure all of your vacation needs are met. This house is really designed to make life as easy and worry free as possible! We are happy to answer any questions you may have about your upcoming vacation! The house was absolutely beautiful, spacious and perfectly located in St. Pete. I was getting married at the Sunken Gardens and this was the great location for my family visiting from San Diego, CA. The rental was an 8 minute drive from the venue and 15 minutes from DTSP where we hosted our welcome party and wedding activities. My family stayed at the rental for 1 week. The house was spacious enough where we can gather indoors, outdoors at the pool and dock then retreat to our own spaces for relaxation. The house was a great balance of a vacation rental and local vibes of St. Pete. We made good use of all of the fun toys they provided- corn hole, kayaking, fishing poles, grill, etc. The house was also a great house base for all our other out of town guests. Guests staying at near by hotels for the wedding would stop by and be completely in awe of the rental. The cost of the rental and hotel stay were very similar but the house definitely provided more. No worries, they got to use the pool and house so it was a win for everyone :) Dog friendly as well, our beagles were obsessed. The front and backyard were gated, safe for exploring all the smells. Parking was easy. I live in St. Pete and I would book this rental again for out of towners and myself for staycation. You’re right on the water! Beautiful photos for a memorable vacation. The host was wonderful! I can’t say enough good things about this rental. It was perfect!

We really enjoyed our time at this property. It was exactly what we needed as we were attending a wedding in Tampa, but wanted to have time to relax with family during the week. we enjoyed the pool, the home is spacious ans clean. It has all you need for a stay. My kids enjoyed fishing off the dock. The hosts were very responsive to questions or issues. We did have to evacuate two days and moved to a hotel because of hurricane Idalia. we were reimbursed two nights of stay which I so appreciated . Thank goodness the storm did not damage the home and we happily returned to finish our our vacation. Thanks Dennis and Susie!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this house! It was very nice to have a pool and the ability to kayak. Dennis provided perfect information and was very quick with responses. This house is perfect if you plan a relaxing vacation to get away from it all.

Overall, the house has everything you need to have a wonderful, relaxing stay. The property listed reflects exactly what you get except for reliable wifi. (see more below) The house itself is well maintained, the owner provides everything you need including extra garbage bags, dishwasher pods, toilet paper, etc. The pool was wonderful and having the dock was also great! The home has fishing rods and multiple kayaks/paddleboards for guests to use which was a plus! We did catch a few fish which was an added bonus! (catch and release)
The house is conveniently located to publix, and other stores. It was about a 25 minute drive to St. Pete Beach, John's Pass, and Treasure Island Beach. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful.
The owner was very responsive to any questions before and during our trip. The only reason I give the house an overall 4 star rating is the wifi. It is not reliable so if you are coming and needing to work please make sure you have a hot spot. There are directions on how to reboot the system, but it continuously went out each day on our trip. I did have to work a few hours here and there and it was difficult. I would certainly rent this house again as everything else was wonderful, but ensure that I did not have to work remotely.

Two items that would have made our stay better:
1. Ability to adjust the AC cooler - has a floor of 72 degrees but did not feel like 72 when on and with all fans on in the house. We had to sleep with all doors open to help ventilate and still it didn’t feel nicely cool and comfortable in FL heat.
2. Internet - we worked remotely while here and the internet was spotty. It came back on eventually, but was inconsistent everyday and especially when trying to work and take calls.
Positives: Good location, good views, and made well use of the pool. Prompt communication with owner.

Overall the property was very nice and we enjoyed our stay, there were 3 sets of families in our group and the house being separated with 2 rooms on one side of the house and 2 on the other worked out very well for us. We had a couple concerns and they were taken care of very quickly. One of the beds is very high off the ground and based on our setup this meant kids were sleeping in that room, luckily no issues and minor complaint in an overall great experience.

We loved this location. It was close to the beaches and shopping, plus it is in a nice, quite neighborhood. We fished off the dock and swam in the pool. The home was spacious and very comfortable for our group of five, but it would definitely accommodate a group of eight. It had everything we needed and the host was quick to respond and provide needed information. We would stay here again.

I can not begin to describe how wonderful our vacation was. Everything was truly top notch. And if we had even the slightest of bumps, Dennis was extremely responsive and helpful. Even from the moment of booking, this was our experience.
The house accommodated our group of 8 perfectly. 4 couples, and each had their own room, and shared a bathroom with another.
The layout was perfect. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, lots of extra bedding but we didn’t need it.
The house was well stocked. Beach umbrellas/chairs/blankets/coolers. There was corn hole in the garages, bikes, kayaks, fishing poles etc. Well equipped kitchen as well. Literally everything you need.
The pool was incredible. Warm, clean, beautiful surroundings.
Overall I recommend this to anyone on the fence. Truly such a wonderful well established rental.

This property is a gem. It has everything needed for two families. Great space for parents and children. Beds are comfy, house is fully stocked right down to fishing poles and communication with Dennis was so easy. The view is gorgeous and it is peaceful to just sit and relax by the pool day or night. The location is amazing as it’s only 15 minutes to downtown, 25 to the airport and 30 to St. Pete beach. We are so lucky to have found this rental and will hopefully be back soon. Thank you Dennis!

I honestly don’t know where to begin. We have stayed in many rentals. This was by far the best one we’ve ever stayed in! The beds are AMAZING! We were greeted by dolphins the very first night! Everything was stocked, the owner literally thought of everything! When we come back to St Pete, I’m definitely coming back to this house! Thank you Dennis for making our vacation spectacular!!!!!!

Rented this for our Spring Break trip. Accommodated our 8 members easily with plenty of space. Was quick and easy to get to the airport, restaurants, and beaches. Pool and patio was a nice size with plenty of seating. The inside had all the amenities of home with was super convenient. PLUS, being located on the waterway, we were able to have several dolphin sightings.

Plenty of room. Great backyard for relaxing by the pool. Too cold to use the kayaks and paddle boards but a perfect place to do so in warmer weather. Close to everything. Wonderful neighborhood with very friendly neighbors. I hated to leave and would return in a heartbeat. Give this place 5 stars!!! You can't go wrong.

My friends and I absolutely enjoyed the property! The bedrooms are spacious and the house is nicely decorated. We enjoyed hanging out in the pool. The home is located in a great location so we were able to pick up things we needed without going too far. Overall, we were pleases with the house and my friends enjoyed the views of the water while relaxing out back. The host was great and very responsive! I would definitely host another girl's weekend here!

This was a great property in a wonderful location- Close to it all. Short Drive to downtown which is spectacular. The house was just as advertised. We will be sure to return. We had 7 Adults and One infant. Each couple had their own room, and plenty of "toys" for adults and children. We enjoyed the pool and went Kayaking. Thank you Dennis for your prompt reply to any questions we had.

We had an amazing trip. The house was just as described and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the pool and watching the Herons, Osprey, and the Dolphin swimming through the canal.

Had a great time here with my mother, brother, and his family. It was the perfect size, pool was lovely, and river was great. Fully stocked with towels, dishes, soap, even laundry detergent. Close to amenities. Dennis was easy to reach, prompt replies.

Superb property in the most amazing location. We had numerous days out in the area and had some fantastic experiences. Downtown St Petersburg has a great vibe and we enjoyed a couple of evenings there.
The house is positioned in the most fantastic place. I never tired of the view across the water. We utilised the kayak and paddle boards and were lucky to see dolphins.
The house is plenty big enough for a party of 8. We were 2 separate families and always had space and privacy. The rooms are all well equipped. Only thing we missed was a kettle but that’s just because we’re British!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property! It was very clean, well-maintained, and stocked with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The accommodations that included four bedrooms and two full baths, along with great common areas, worked so well for our crew of adult children and grandkids. We all enjoyed the wonderful pool, fenced in yard, and dock!! And communication with Dennis was always prompt and thorough. We definitely hope to return next year and make more treasured family memories at Shore Acres.
