Step out onto the deck and relax in the recliners overlooking a lush forest. Your rental includes private access to Donner Lake, the Recreation Center, and Tahoe Donner Ski Hill. You're also within walking distance of the Tahoe Donner swimming pool, tennis courts, and Pizza on the Hill, as well as the new bike path to downtown Truckee. It's just a 2-minute drive to Trout Creek Fitness Center, The Lodge Restaurant, and the Tahoe Donner Golf Course and Clubhouse. A spacious Great Room features cathedral ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking a forested landscape. Step out to the deck and breathe in the fresh pine-scented air. The main living area has a wood-burning stove for cozy nights in. On the second level, an open loft area offers bonus sleeping space with a sofa bed. There's a dining table for six and a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar. Complimentary WiFi and a washer/dryer add convenience during your stay. THINGS TO KNOW Your reservation includes two passes that grants eight guests access the Trout Creek Recreation Center for a nominal daily fee per person. Amenities include swimming pools, hot tubs, a fitness center, a sauna, and access to the Tahoe Donner Tennis Center and the Beach Club Marina. Public amenities include skiing at Tahoe Donner Ski Resort. For sledding and tubing, make your way to Snowplay, or explore 100 km of trails at the Tahoe Donner Cross Country Ski Center. In the summer, practice your swing at Tahoe Donner Golf Course and explore over 60 miles of hiking trails in the area. To venture out on horseback, visit the Tahoe Donner Equestrian Center. Although this rental does not allow guest pets, the homeowner does have a pet that sometimes visits the property. Six maximum number of occupants (excluding children under thirteen, 13, years of age) permitted. There is not a TV included in this tranquil relaxation property. Garage use allowed, but the property does not include a garage remote. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Dock details: Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The cabin was great. It was clean and well stocked. Check in was a breeze and Vacasa was very responsive via text to anything we needed. They were also incredibly helpful helpful retrieving an item that was left behind. The only complaint was the bed in the primary bedroom was quite hard and uncomfortable, but didn’t ruin our stay.

My husband and I stayed here last minute on a quick trip up to enjoy the snowy weather. The location is awesome, super well appointed living space and kitchen, a super clutch garage for snowy weather parking, reliable wifi, and plenty of space to sleep 4+ (even though it was just the two of us). The one big downside was the beds. The bed in the primary bedroom is basically the most firm mattress I've ever felt. You could convince me it was cement. The guest bedroom was a mild improvement (like sleeping on a rock with a soft mattress topper), and since it was just the two of us, we opted to sleep there. Two other minor fixes needed: the kitchen faucet is stuck on spray mode, and the heater knocks loudly when kicking on. Neither are a deal breaker - if the beds were improved, this place would be a 9/10.

Wonderful, quiet location in the trees. Close to hiking, stores, and restaurants. Home is comfy and kitchen had all the essentials.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was great for two couples and in a good location for enjoying Tahoe’s multiple wonderful skiing options. We enjoyed the fireplace ( we bought wood) . Parking for 2 cars worked out well. Due to snow there was no deck access but we didn’t expect it. To note, bedroom set up would work for family but no TVs in condo. Kitchen was stocked with enough items for cooking and meals. Only complaint is heating in kitchen, upstairs bath and 1 bedroom were broken. We were warm enough with effective if noisy, living in room heater. Would suggest getting wood for alternate heating if power fails during snow storms.

Overall it was a great spot. The kitchen was very well stocked. The house had a lot of fake plants and off things on the walls. It for our family well. A lot of the floor heaters were broken, the once that worked were noisy. The wall unit heated the place well.

Stayed for 2 weeks with my wife and absolutely loved it. Larger than expected from the pictures, too. Easy check in/out. Few minutes drive to central truckee, ~30-45 to Palisades/Northstar. Room for improvement: a TV and garage clicker.

We absolutely loved this cabin and the location! It was a great layout for our family, with a beautiful view of the trees. The beds weren't the most comfortable but it wouldn't keep us away. We enjoyed with nearby pool, trails, and recreation activities. Easy access to stores, restaurants, and the lake. Already planning a time we can go back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home is beautiful, clean, well stocked and super close to the free amenities. We didn't get to access the pool being it was a reservation system that only allows guests to reserve 2 days in advance and reservations can't be accessed untill noon. By the time I got to the house to access the passes to reserve our fun, everything was booked. If you chooses to use any of their amenities (lake & pool) be prepared to pay 16.00 a person. The master bedroom bed creaked with every movement making it hard to sleep through the night. Other then that my family and I enjoyed our 4nights and 5 day in Trukee.

But we were really pleased with the cleanliness of the cabin and appreciated all the nice cozy touches, from the chairs on the deck, the little reading spot upstairs, and the generously sized dining table, where we played games in the evening. And even though many of the amenities at the club were unavailable, we were still able to reserve a time to play tennis.
