Pnoe Breathing Life - Adults Only

We stayed at Pnoé Breathing Life for a few days as newlyweds and honestly, this is by far the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. What really stood out to us was the people. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly welcoming, caring and attentive. They don’t just do their job and move on. They actually talk to you, joke around with you and genuinely seem to care about making sure you’re having a good time. It makes a huge difference. We had told them beforehand that we would be checking in late, and when we arrived they had prepared food, drinks and everything for us in the room. After a long day, that was such a nice surprise. The housekeeping team was also amazing. Every time we came back to the room, we genuinely couldn’t believe how perfectly everything had been cleaned and prepared. It felt like we were walking into a new room every time. They would even leave us little treats from time to time, which was such a nice touch. The 24/7 chat is actually 24/7. We used it a few times and there was always someone there to help with whatever we needed. Even when something wasn’t normally offered or available, they would still try to find a solution. That level of attentiveness is something we really appreciated. The day before we checked out, they also sent us some fruits and drinks with a little note. It’s all these small things that really made the stay special. We were initially a bit worried about the fact that the hotel is only around 15 minutes from the airport, but the soundproofing is honestly incredible. We barely noticed the planes at all and it was never an issue. We also had a couple of massages during our stay and Antonis was fantastic. He genuinely has hands from God. If you stay here, definitely check out the spa and book a treatment. The gym was also surprisingly well equipped for a hotel gym and had everything you’d need for a quick workout.

Modern, clean, peaceful and great location. All of the staff were absolutely amazing! Friendly, professional and such a pleasure. The food was fantastic.

The calm and relaxing aesthetic of the property is truly special. Can’t wait for the future vision of the property to further encapsule the beach and sea. Staff is outstanding. Ms Ioanna at Anasa Restaurant is the breeze and a true breath of fresh air in the morning. She will let you in on best Cretan To Dos and you will never go thirsty or hungry under her watch. Her smile sets the mood for the day, sunny and bright. From reception, through to bar and restaurants all the way to gym, spa and room service, just marvelous staff. Cannot say that I missed a thing. And beyond, we got to experience numerous little tokens of appreciation. Just wonderful. We’ll be back.

The breakfast was good.

We traveled around Crete and stayed at several hotels, and unfortunately, this one was the most disappointing. It’s significantly overpriced for what it offers. The nearby beach is overshadowed by an abandoned property, which really takes away from the atmosphere. On arrival, you're required to check in through an app — something I personally didn’t appreciate after a 16-hour flight, especially when I was hoping to disconnect and relax. The staff didn’t make the experience any better. I called to request an iron, and it took over 30 minutes. When I followed up to cancel the request, the response I got was a sarcastic-sounding, “Aw okay, enjoy your outing,” — which is the same kind of passive, dismissive tone we experienced multiple times during our stay. Rather than resolving concerns, they smile and give these insincere responses that feel more frustrating than helpful. They also advertise a complimentary hand massage, but it was fully booked for five days — so if you're not staying that long, you miss out on it entirely. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. It simply isn’t worth the price, and you can absolutely find better places for the same (or even lower) cost. The only real advantage is its proximity to the airport.
