AC does not work; switched room because the AC could not cool the room under 74 degrees and the second room would not cool below 70 degrees!!!

Front desk service was not efficient nor friendly. The housekeepers came knocking before 8am when check out time was not time till 12pm. Woke us up which turned out to be a bad day. Have not received my money back that they charged for incidentals. Unacceptable.

Noise problem. Belligerent guest in a room down the hall from my room. Staff was much too slow in kicking this person out of the hotel. Late night noise/altercation was so loud it was heard by hotel staff at front desk for more than an hour! I've asked for full refund.

The place itself was nice and the staff was great, unfortunately there were cockroaches in our room. We were moved to a different room, and again it had cockroaches.

Tub was clogged. Heating in room was weak, froze all night, Wi-Fi was weak in room. Complained about tub and heating and was told engineering would show up and that never happened.

Check in was super slow. Once I finally got to my room the maintenance man said “this room is out of order”. I returned to front desk and waited some more. Room was nice once I got there.

Everything was normalish until after we checked out we got random charges on credit card used for incidentals totaling 550 dollars and no one can tell us why

Customer service was excellent! Staff was all very friendly. Room was clean and good condition. Breakfast was included and had decent selection of items. Parking rate was very reasonable compared to other hotels at only $20 per night.

We were informed that because we had arrived in a car we would be charged $20 for the privilege of parking it. We had pre-paid. If that wasn't the case we would have found another place to stay that wasn't so money hungry.

The good: excellent front desk service, I am really impressed with how welcoming and helpful they are. Clean rooms. Clean windows. Cleaning people are thorough, breakfast servers are attentive - all the people working at that hotel cared about the guests. Why not five stars: the main problem is that the doors to the rooms are extremely loud, if anyone in the neighboring rooms is closing their room door at night, it sounds like a gun shot while you are in your own room. This woke me up multiple times per night. I don’t know how that could be fixed, if they fix it, this would be my favorite hotel. Other minor details that were not perfect: breakfast has no fresh cut fruit, and no cheese and no plain yogurt. The rooms are not cleaned automatically during the stay, you have to request it. We (a group that occupied 5-6 rooms) stayed there because we had a weekend-long event at the nearby Hyatt and the Hyatt group rate was sold out. I think Holiday Inn should make sure the walking way to Hyatt is a bit nicer and safer at night. It’s only a five minute walk, but as soon as it gets dark it does not feel safe - the two short blocks to Hyatt are badly lit and the sidewalk is narrow and cracked. Hyatt hosts multiple events and parties that end in the wee hours of the night, and if those two blocks felt safer to walk at 2 am, that would make a HUGE difference. Or, maybe have the front desk run a free on-request night shuttle service to/from Hyatt Thursdays - Mondays.

This is the second time I stay at this property. Unfortunately, if the A/C is not fixed, I will not stay here again. It's a shame, the property is nice. Breakfast option is great. Complimentary parking is a plus. The proximity to the airport is convenient. The staff is super friendly. All these perks, unfortunately, are not enough to beat the uncomfortable feeling of a hot room.

Holiday Inn Express (SFO South) was ideally situated for our trip to the SF Bay Area. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room and amenities were a bit austere, but certainly met our needs. Breakfast area was clean and a plentyful selection of food was served. Other than noise caused by a few inconsiderate and disruptive guests, our overall impression of this place was good.

They allow me to leave my bags after check out to be able to see the surroundings while waiting for my flight jn the night. Only thing I didn't like is that the a/c dont cool enough and the room was warm. Other than that love the customer service, the breakfast menu and the convient location and shuttle ti the airport.

We really enjoyed the beautiful lobby for continental breakfast and evening game playing overlooking the bay and planes landing at the airport. The whole breakfast crew was very attentive and friendly.
