Pre-checked in at 10:00 and were given a key for underground parking. That was really appreciated. However when we returned at 3:30 room was still not ready, yet they started checking in people who had just arrived a few minutes later. The room we were finally assigned was on the main floor with no view or privacy. While convenient, having booked AND checked in well ahead we would have expected better. Some of the amenities were nice, some not. The soap dispensers were very watery, the floor and door in the bathroom were pretty worn out, the tile floor at the entrance was nice, but COLD! Microwave was provided on request. Our information said that there would be tea and coffee available in the lounge/restaurant area all day. We never saw any tea. I'm not sure either where the "two restaurants" were; maybe the morning service in this hotel and the tea room at the adjacent Pendray Inn? Beds were very comfortable, heat was very quiet, blackout drapes very effective. Breakfast was very good. Though very little changed from day to day, there was a wide selection and everything was fresh and well-prepared. We made much more use of it than we'd planned and enjoyed it every day. The locked underground parking was great. We were also given access to the surface lot after checkout which was terrific as our flight out was quite late. Service, after check-in, was generally very quick and courteous.

Reasonable value for a hotel on the harbour in Victoria. Because it is an older hotel sound carried between floors (we were on the 1st floor and it was very noisy above us) and sound from doors closing in the hall was loud. Breakfast was fantastic and service was friendly and efficient. Can’t beat the location

To start with I was not given the room that I had booked through Expedia. I was told Huntington Manor but the photos were in a historic home. I was so looking forward to my one evening in Victoria surrounded by cozy heritage. But what I was given was a tacky, poorly maintained modern room furnished with miscellaneous furniture and paper thin walls so I could hear the neighbors clearly. And the shower running upstairs sounded like it was right next to me. Terribly noisy! I cannot explain my disappointment. I waited 2 hours to speak with the manager to no avail. I found out I paid full price for the room, not the discounted price that hotels.com had told me. I paid in advance as requested and no refund The hallways felt like prison cells. Having said all this, the breakfast and service in the dining room was great.

The hotel was amazing, within walking distance to fisherman’s warf and the great food carts/dock life, and to the inner harbor sites. The breakfast was wonderful both days, and the service was impeccable. The only thing that was not disclosed at checkin was the charge for parking at the hotel. Feels like that should have been included since there was no where to park around the hotel itself. Other than stay and hotel were great, definitely will be back.

Including Breakfast was the best part as ended up saving on meals as wasn't even hungry at lunch time. Had ham one day, bacon the next, and sausage the last day. Location is excellent of course

This was such a convenient hotel for our family trip. The location was perfect-as it’s situated close to the ferry drop off. They were so lovely to take and hold our luggage since check in wasn’t until later.The breakfast was included, plenty to choose from, wonderful addition to our stay. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Bring in your own snacks though / there’s no pantry store at the location. We’d definitely come back!

This is not a good hotel for those who are mobility challenged. Many of the rooms are lofts that feature steep stairs to the beds. The main lobby leads to stairs that must be climbed to gain access to the first floor and the breakfast room. We also had trouble getting parking, which is limited. Otherwise, the hotel is clean, staffed by helpful people, and situated in a beautiful part of downtown.

We spent 3 nights at Huntingdon. The amenities were nice; we especially appreciated the complimentary breakfast, the wi-fi, and the water coolers located throughout the hotel (we drink a lot of water and use refillable bottles). This is the first hotel I've stayed at that offered a small porcelain container in the room for compost. That made me so happy. The hotel staff were all very friendly, everything was very clean, and the location was excellent for walking around town.

Great Hotel, very nice accommodations. Really nice breakfast, everything you could want, nicely prepared. The staff is so nice and keep everything in perfect shape. I will not stay anywhere else when my wife and I visit Victoria.

Friendly staff, clean comfortable room, cozy bed, at the quiet end of the harbour. The high-pressure shower was great. Basic breakfast and room amenities. (No smart TV.) Overall good value. Would stay again.

It's very conveniently located downtown, clean and walkable to major spaces. The view to the water is amazing and the tea house is brilliant. Wish they would offer something different options at breakfast ...same stuff all 3 days isnt fun....

Loved the EV charging, ecofriendly options and location. The walls were very thin and we could hear people talking at normal levels of volume at 2:25am which made it impossible to sleep.

Unique experience in a well situated quaint location. Easy walk to the Harbour, BC museum, restaurants, etc. Tips: if you’re carrying a lot of luggage try and avoid getting a room on the first floor as you will need to haul anything up stairs. Elevator access to the other floors makes it easier for rolling carts. Also the breakfast is really nice but get there early to avoid big crowds.

This was a fantastic experience. The hotel was wonderful and charming. The staff were all excellent, friendly and our stay was great. We had lunch at Santiago's and the food was very good. The location is excellent. The breakfast buffet was really good.
