We love this hotel. It's within walking distance to Alvarado Street and other shops/restaurants, the rooms are always clean and a noon checkout time is such a bonus.
The staff is always polite and helpful. We've never had a bad stay.
The pool was cold this time and the lock is very janky, however
My key wouldn't work and neither would the maintenance guy's, but he was great and got the gate open.

An older property, staff very helpful. Glass of wine offered on arrival day, Hot breakfast also. I just don't like the $20 activity fees hotels charge that don't show on Expedia when one is doing comparative pricing.

The hotel room was adorable
The room was absolutely cozy and amazingly spacious for a family of four (corner unit by the pool)
So many options for breakfast!

two things, one about hotel itself: US and Cal flags are in rags, literally look like shredded diapers hanging from a pole.
