Great clean rooms,great price and Carin g help with an item I left behind

Drug addict manning the front desk My advice to folks if you come to this hotel - don’t check in past 6pm bc apparently instead the typically people who man and the desk who are lovely and NOT HIGH drugs - you’ll instead get a drug addict. We checked in at midnight driving in from the Bay Area. He gave us keys that opened up someone else’s else’s room and they were sleeping. Felt very bad for those people. Then he gave us another room for a room number that didn’t exist. Then he gave us another room where the keys didn’t work, but there was a tag on the front door that said do not disturb on the front door, so pretty sure there was also people in there. It wasn’t until we actually had to go and look around the computer for us to see where exactly was there an open room. he was totally incoherent when he was speaking, did not know what was going on. Comical. We weren’t the only ones.There was an entire group kept coming back-and-forth as well with the same problem. I don’t know what he was on but clearly not someone who should be manning a desk and basically speaking to people or basically doing anything, but just having a heart that’s beating. Thank God at least he was still alive. We stayed at this hotel multiple times. This is the first time it’s happened so hopefully they’ve let go of this person so it won’t happen again but honestly something needs to change at this establishment because they cannot have someone like this manning the desk.

Great location right across the street from North Tahoe with many restaurants (check out Fat Cats) and shopping, and 5 miles from squaw valley. Its nothing special. We stayed for 2 nights at the king bed room. Ok bed, no microwave or refrigerator though.

Showers were warm, and the rooms were clean. But the overall condition is pretty shabby (carpet, outlets, lights). The room has a weird smell that I think is their cleaning agent.

It's an old motel. I've been staying here for years. But the rooms at the back have a deck which overlooks the pretty golf course, it's always very clean, and the price is amazing low for Lake Tahoe. I didn't use it, but I assume the outdoor hot tub is still working. The motel is right across the street from the beach. No microwave, but a coffee maker, and there is a coffee/tea bar at the front desk.

First gave me Jets that didn’t work, then gave me keys to an occupied room. Took my CC on a piece of paper ( not secure) and said they needed it even though room paid for.

The walls are very thin. You could hear the neighboring rooms conversations through the walls. I would recommend not staying here unless you sleep like a rock in no noise bothers you.

The room very clean which was a plus, and ours looked out on a gold course which was really nice. However, the room could certainly use some up-dating, Overall a great experience, would stay there again for the price.

This hotel is very dated but clean and comfortable. My room was facing the golf course so it was also very quiet. The decor is way dated but in decent condition. Given the state of water in California and at Tahoe in particular, I’m still shocked they don’t have low-flow toilets. They say they are eco-friendly but not so much.

Basic room, nothing fancy. Clean, functional, inexpensive for a quick overnight stay. Next to the lake and a beautiful park across the street. Would stay there again.

Outside of hotel needs to update the flooring. Many holes and worn out patches. Hotel advertises a pool but the pool is out of commission. Hot tub was very nice and the rooms are clean and staff very good. Several of the rooms toward front of hotel need blackout curtains since neon and other lighting outside causes unwanted ambient lighting into the room. Refrigerators would be nice but ice machines are handy. Not necessary but alarm clocks would be a great addition to the room. Overall hotel is fine and the staff is excellent.

Nothing fancy about this place. If you need a clean room , comfortable bed and friendly service this is the place for you. Bonus it is right across the street from the lake.

Unfriendly staff at check-in. Carpet in hallways and rooms is damaged with holes and cuts. The place is old and dated, it needs a complete remodel. Ceiling in room had stains with paint patches. Location is nice directly across from lake, playground and walking trail.

When my wife and I arrived at 6:30 PM, the room with a king bed that we had booked had not been cleaned and was exactly as the previous guest had left it. The front desk clerk was concerned but stated that housekeeping was gone for the day. The options we were given were to stay in the dirty room, switch to a room with only a double bed or cancel the reservation. The only reasonable option was to cancel the reservation, but we were left having to find another place to stay after a long and tiring day of traveling.

Would not ever stay there again. Every expensive for condition,localition and Amenities. Move to a 2 bedroom suites with 2 king bads. For just about the same price per night. We left after the first night and did not stay there. The second night was not worth the headache of even checking out before leaving.

Great place to stay for the price, we loved the surroundings, especially access to the lake. Room was clean and staff was friendly. Would've been great if they also provide some hot breakfast, they do have pastries, coffee and fruits.

The service was very good. I did not have to wait and every time I went to the office, there was someone to readily answer to my requests. Location is also great. Right across is the lake beach.

Great location. Unfortunately the property description says there is a pool and it looks like that pool has not been used in years. Also the shower in the room is super small. If you are over 6’, you will feel cramped taking a shower.

The property is definitely outdated, but also clean. The pictures on the website were accurate other than them showing a refrigerator & microwave in the room, but neither being in the room we had rented. The beds were comfortable, they even have extra towels & supplies available in the room. The walls to the rooms are thin, so just hope you don’t have a neighbor like we did who apparently thought they were the only people in the place. The location truly is perfect, we walked almost everywhere other than the tournament we were in town for in the first place. Literally right across the street from the lake & public beach, walking distance to multiple restaurants & shops.

The hotel is very basic and needs maintenance. That being said it has a microwave, fridge and hot tub. Customer service was great. Best part and honestly the only reason why we may return in the location. Lake with a park and playground is directly across the street.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Cleanliness of entire property inside and out. Everything you would ever need in the kitchen. There's even a dishwasher which I don't even have at home. Washer and dryer worked great especially on the wet ski clothes. And Room hot tub fantastic. Everything works. It is not a hotel so you do have to clean up and pick up after yourself which was fine with me and my party. The price was right for the season. TV got all kinds of channels. Very spacious. If there is a six or seven or 10 star rating I would rate it higher than a five.

Great location north of all the Tahoe congestion in the south. Rooms could use updating/freshening. Staff is excellent and kind.
