I traveled to San Diego for a conference, but did not want to stay in a conference hotel. Porto Vista is a lovely local hotel, not fancy, perfectly situated in little Italy near all of the best restaurants. I really enjoyed my stay.

Awesome location in little italy! Close to lots of restaurants and easy access to the u line and buses. Rooms are a little noisy but it was fine.

Lovely hotel. Staff super friendly. Clean room. Quiet despite being so close to the airport. The room we stayed in could have used some darker curtains.
