Situated in Prime Hook Beach, this attractive house for $529 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. We'd love to welcome you to our beach house with beautiful views of the Delaware Bay. The house comfortably sleeps 8 people and is just steps away from a private family-oriented beach. You'll sleep comfortably thanks to the help of our new central AC system. At the private beach, you can bring along some cocktails, some music and even build bonfires at night. Wade in the water at the sand bars right in front of the house or read a book in the shade of an umbrella. Enjoy the sea breeze and the lull of the ocean waves with none of the mosquitoes in the screened-in porch or gaze at the stars on the upper observation deck. While on vacation, still experience all the comforts of home with two 42-inch flat screen TVs with cable services, wireless high-speed Internet service that carries even to the beach! Dine out or enjoy a night in with everything you need to cook a family meal in the full kitchen and propane grill on the deck. You're able to pack light as we have a washer and dryer available in the house for your convenience. We also have a sun umbrella, beach chairs, sand shovels and buckets, boogie boards, noodles and more in the shed. Bringing multiple cars? No problem. We have off Road parking for 5 to 6 cars. Free WIFI and a powerful router means you can stream live music while relaxing on the beach!

The house was as described in listing. It was clean. It had everything we needed in the kitchen. The screened porch is great. The location is quiet and private. One day we went to Lewes, which is such a cute town. Another afternoon we went to Cape Henlopen State Park, and that is very nice also. Overall, we had a wonderful time and we may stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay! The location was beautiful, the house was very nice, clean and the layout of the house worked very well for our family of seven. We all appreciated the well supplied necessities and communication with the host was excellent. We would encourage an upgrade on the downstairs bedroom mattress or to use it for a single person (or for couples who like to sleep snuggled together) and some direction on use of the hurricane door for “newbies.” Would we stay here again? Absolutely!

The beachfront house could not have been better! Easy, private access. House was much nicer than expected. House was clean and well-stocked with all the utensils, pans, etc. that you could want. Loved both the screened-in porch and the second-story porch above it. The beds and furnishings were terrific.
As for the bay, the water was warm with virtually no waves. Beach and wading areas were almost all sand without the usual large broken shells that are typical of most beaches.
This is an excellent vacation place!!

Better than expected! The private beach was just steps away, and the house was comfortable and clean with all of the amenities you could need. Will be booking for next summer!

This property was perfect for our family. We even had extra room. The screened-in porch was awesome, and the view from the top deck was amazing. Communication with the owner was easy, and he answered all my questions. NOTE: This property does not have sheets or towels. They are rentable from a local company, but we brought our own. I liked that the price of the VRBO was less expensive than others since the owner does not have to pay for the laundry service. We had extras, so it was a no-brainer.

The location - right on the beach! - couldn't be better. Also, the screened porch that looked out on the beach allowed us to spend our whole time "on the beach," either literally on the beach (beautiful sunrises!) or eating, reading, relaxing in the screened porch. House is very roomy, very well stocked, and very comfortable. We liked this place so much, and the great communication with the owner, that we've already looked at dates to stay here again!

The house was well set up for our group of 5 adults and senior pup. There was ample seating in the living room. Aside from perishables, the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. It was a little bit of a pain to have to bring our own sheets and towels, but we managed. I appreciated that there was no additional cleaning fee and would rather have the option to bring my own than have to pay for them to be rented. My only small complaint was that the master bedroom bed was extremely firm. I suggest bringing a mattress topper if you have one. Other than that, go and enjoy! We really loved seeing the Canadian geese on the water. There were so many it looked like whitecaps!

Had a wonderful time at Jim’s house! It’s right on the shore with incredible views from both floors, you can’t beat waking up to the sunset over the water from your bedroom window. The place is very spacious and had everything we needed. Jim was also very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

My family had a wonderful stay here. We love nature and so were delighted with this location on a natural beach with lots of sea life on the sand to examine with each tide, and the beautiful Prime Hook NWR behind us and separated by only one row of houses. We were able to communicate with Jim easily. We used 3 beds and all found them very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. We would stay again.

We have been going to the Delaware beaches for quite a few years in the Fall and have loved doing it every time. This time was no exception. The house was clean, well-stocked and had a beautiful view of the bay.

What a wonderful house, better than the pictures portray. It’s the 2nd time we’ve stayed here, would still do it again.
We had a minor issue,I texted Jim he responded with minutes.
If you are looking for quiet and peaceful this is the place. The neighbors are very friendly unlike some other places we’ve stayed. Highly recommend!

We had excellent weather with a breeze off the water the entire week. Enjoyed the accommodations, the proximity to the beach and the view of the bay. Our dog really enjoyed running on the beach. Would definitely go again.

We loved the house and it’s proximity to the beach. The screened porch was great for evening dinners and hanging out. Highly recommend for families with young children. The beach has almost no waves and the sand bar is great for hanging out on a little island.
