Hotel was dated but very clean. Breakfast was decent with basic offerings like cereal, mini muffins, toast, instant grits/oatmeal, scrambled eggs, and sausage. Hotel staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They made the experience worth it. My dogs were welcome and we had no issue adding them to the occupancy for the night. My only complaint was the entire hotel smelled like weed. It was a non smoking hotel, so that was a bit off putting. My 8-year old daughter kept asking why it smelled so bad. Not the hotel’s fault, but definitely hard to control in guest rooms.

When we checked in, our document were almost unreadable because their was low on ink. When I inquired about laundry facilities, I was told the washer was not working. Thinking I would hand wash what I needed to clean, I asked about the dryer. That was also out of order. How do you run a hotel with such a lack of urgency?

Service of staff was excellent! the condition of the hotel was fair, window in room was cracked. Room was clean and did look exactly like the picture in the hotel description but the amount of smoking that was going on in the hotel which had signs posted all around being a smoke free facility were ignored and no enforced by staff Pool area door was not secure Back door was ajar at night and random guest and people came through in and out not safe for family

Hotel was clean. We stayed 2 nights they never made the beds we did get new towels. Never emptied the trash. Breakfast was from 6-9 no food besides 1 biscuit. No eggs no milk for cereal. Probably would not stay here again

The mirror was cracked all the way down it in the bathroom. The toilet was broken and would not flush. The tub facet was coming out of the tub and the shower head leaked all the water at the rim instead of the shower head. The pillows were terrible. I went to the front desk multiple times and there was never anyone there.

This was the worse room I have stayed in thus far. The sheets had hair on them and the air conditioner had a stale smell. I will not stay at this location ever again!

Breakfast is available, but they will close down prior to stated time. Supposed to be available until 9:00 AM and got there at 8:45 to find it was basically shut down and clean up over. Make it yourself waffles available, but nothing else. Juice machine produced only water. In my opinion final grade - F

We walked into the room as a family of 5 with young kids and it reeked of cigarettea. The smell of insecticide was giving me a headache, and my 7 year old with asthma started coughing immediately. We moved to another room, and it was exactly the same smell. We told them we couldn't stay because we were having physical reactions to the smell, and they refused to refund us. The area for breakfast looked like a dirty nursing home. And i wasn't going to let the kids swim in the pool. The water was miscolored.

Would not recommend this place for the price this should be rated as a motel. Whole place smelled bad room was dirty and smelled. Roach in the bathroom. Bed smelled bad. Breakfast thats included not great. For the price this is not a good hotel & after complaining they did nothing about it.

I stayed here for a quick day trip to Savannah and Tybee. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. There is a nice hometown vibe. The building is old some which leaves room for improvement. However i would atay here again and enjoyed the stay very much

Horrible experience! Room was smelly And nasty. We had to change sheets upon arrival due to being nasty and covered in hair and what appeared to be dried puke. Killed a few roaches in the room while there also. I’ll never stay here again!

Our stay wasn’t to good. The room was sparse, there weren’t any hangers, pillows on the bed were flat, towels were very thin. The room was large but minimal furnishings. One lamp in the room, no clock and the lady at the desk tried to be helpful but missed it. We also couldn’t get Wi-Fi until another clerk came on duty hours later. Over all it was not a good hotel and we would not stay there again!

We have stayed here for 18 years, back the it was The Travel Lodge, it's our halfway point to Fl from Va. With the new ownership I was hesitant because the standards were already high. I ABSOLUTELY WAS PLEASED by the new changes and our stay to and from Fl was like coming home. The staff & rooms were even better. The breakfast was great and we almost stayed another night because we didn't want to leave. The beds are the most comfortable than any hotel we've ever stayed at. We couldn't have been happier!

The front desk clerk was friendly at check-in but the room was deplorable. The pillows were so old the filling was nothing but lumps, there were greasy hand prints on the head board, stains everywhere including on the window shade. The sink was cracked and the towels and facecloths were so filthy one was hesitant to use them.

The room was clean and the woman who checked us in was very helpful. The only issues worth talking about was the mattress was not very comfortable. My back was pretty stiff in the morning.

The clerk Ms. Brandy was such a wonderful touch to Baymont. She made check-in simple and quick. The room was cozy and clean. The atmosphere was so relaxing and calm. Breakfast was spot on and fresh as well. My fiancé and I have decided to make Baymont in Pooler, our getaway spot. Not far from Tanger Outlets(6 mins) and great food spots. Definitely recommend checking them out!

In fairness, this was the most inexpensive option to stay a night as we traveled to Florida. All the staff were very nice. But most of the guests were hard-core construction workers. I didn't really feel all that safe but I did not run into any problems.

Staff were very accommodating. Property is dated. My room had less than adequate lighting, Seeing human hair on my pillow case was a turn off. Breakfast was very nice with both hot and cold choices. Overall, I probably won't stay here again.

The check in purposely gave us a room that was filled with roaches and when we went back down to get another room he laughed and said he knew cause they had people living in there for a month and trashed the place. He literally gave us knowing it had roaches. Then he kept telling my mother I was a pet. But I don’t think he thought we were mother and son. I believe he was referring to me as a pet in a sexual manner. I was not amused and will never stay at this property again. I have pictures of the roaches and sent them to their local health department.

I was having my home remodeled and needed a place that was affordable. The price was right and it was close to home. Overall the place was clean and the staff were friendly. I'm picky about bathrooms, these could stand to be upgraded, especially the bath tub and shower.

Property good- only ice on first floor inconvenient- sink in bathroom drain not working- air conditioner very noisy- people on third floor over me tramping like horses. Breakfast good and breakfast hostess was exceptional and warm and friendly.

Everything was great! The customer service, bedroom and bathroom was clean. The breakfast was tasty as well. The only small complaint was the lighting in the bathroom was a little too dim. I would go back for sure.
