Fabulous setting in the jungle , a beautiful sanctuary. The food was fresh and flavoursome. The pool was a perfect size and temperature for an afternoon swim in the rain. The turtles were cute and hungry.
The manager was exceptionally knowledgeable and his English was clear and concise. A pleasure to have a discussion with.
We booked the 90 minute spa session and were disappointed. The treatment price was top dollar anywhere in the world, and the service did not even come close to value for money. A few strokes and some body product painted on covered with leaves. The girls were chatting and giggling for at least 10 minutes of the treatment. We lost our vibe due to the distraction.
We would stay again however do not recommend the spa until the owner invests in training. One other thing, we think the water in the room should not be charged for.

Prime location, beautiful spaces, helpful staff, and comfortable mattress. Spa services unique and fulfilling, food delicious and not overpriced. Overall would stay again.
What they don’t tell you up front is that you can’t bring any outside food or beverages, and this includes bottled water and leftovers from restaurants. I understand they want you to get drinks from the bar and food from the restaurant, and all their tap water is drinkable. However, there’s a small fridge in the room and you can’t even cool down water to take on your day trips off the property. Luckily, they sell large bottles for only slightly more than the grocery store and we convinced them to freeze the water we bought from them in their freezer so that it stays cold longer during the hot and humid day.

The hacienda is an amazing natural place in the tropical forest and there are many animals and insects atound. Its understandable and very nice but there should be a warning. I found scorpiona scorpion inside the reception area and different spiders inside the rooms. It can be dangerous for small kids. The room was comfortable and the whole experience was an adventure. The staff was friendly. I wanted to use the pool in the early morning but i had to wait because they were cleaning the pool and because the person responsible for the towels was not available, even when it says that the pool is is open from earlier.
