All the staff were so kind and helpful. The location was beautiful. Right next to the Convent, which had a light show every evening. Taxis always around. The street adjacent was stunning, many beautiful restaurants to eat at.
Recommend doing a day trip to Coba and surrounding cenotes. we had two cenotes to ourselves :)
Nothing! Everything was as expected.

Very Clean and room with bath was very well laid out; nice size and jacuzzi was fun to use.
They try to charge us 600 pesos...
25% of the nightly rate for checking out 30minutes late.
Staff were young girls that just kept repeating the corporate policy and did not want to accommodate for an exception.
I told them categorically that I would refuse to pay, and requested they call the local police to mediate the situation.
I was completely unaware of this policy and felt I was being ripped off.
Even if it was a written rule...
The price was absolutely ridiculous.
In the end... I did not pay, as they would not call either the owner or the local Municipal Police.
We simply left...
With Bad Feelings about a Nice Place.
