Mooie moderne kamers, lekker zwembad, ontbijt voor 199 pesos bij de buren. Vriendelijke receptie. Valladolid is charmant stadje, alles lopend te bereiken. Parkeren kan gratis voor de deur. Cenote Oxman met de liaan waaraan je kon slingeren was het grootste succes!
Hotel Frater is een prima uitvalsbasis voor een bezoek aan Chitzen Itza. Laat je onderweg door de toeristenpolitie niks wijsmaken over drukte en tickets vooraf kopen (tegen enorme meerprijs). Chitzen Itza is indrukwekkend maar wel een enorme touristtrap. Zou de volgende keer een ander complex bezoeken.

Me gustó que las habitaciones están muy bonitas, amplias y limpias.
Lo único fue que no contaba con estacionamiento, pero no fue problema encontrar enfrente.

Very Clean and room with bath was very well laid out; nice size and jacuzzi was fun to use.
They try to charge us 600 pesos...
25% of the nightly rate for checking out 30minutes late.
Staff were young girls that just kept repeating the corporate policy and did not want to accommodate for an exception.
I told them categorically that I would refuse to pay, and requested they call the local police to mediate the situation.
I was completely unaware of this policy and felt I was being ripped off.
Even if it was a written rule...
The price was absolutely ridiculous.
In the end... I did not pay, as they would not call either the owner or the local Municipal Police.
We simply left...
With Bad Feelings about a Nice Place.

"Great location easy walk to main attractions and restaurants. Nice and modern. Pool was refreshing ie coolish. Cafe attached was good for snacks. Staff were excellent."
