Good hotel in a great location howeverimpossible to fall asleep before 1am and there is constant noise which makes it extremely hard to peacefully sleep.I want to start off by reviewing Anca the receptionist. they should really consider her position there.There was this one day in which they did not do our room as we had dnd sign, when we got to the room at 9pm we called in for new towels and some toilet paper as we had ran out.Anca was the one who brought for us, as I opened the room door with a nasty attitude Anca said at this time don’t call for anything again. I was like excuse me? Im the client and I believe I have the right to call whenever I need something as I always do in other hotels i stay in and theres no issue. Secondly, the day we’re leaving we ask for a taxi for around 12:40, we were having lunch & arrived at 1:05 and the taxu had left which is totally fine! So Anca gives my husband attitude saying we were late she called taxiagain. And said he would be there in 2-3 minutes. About 10 minutes passed and nothing so we say we are just going to go catch a taxi and she says no lets go to gran via and wait for him hes almost here. 10 more minutes passed and nothing. she calls the taxi and keeps procrastinating saying hes almost there we were going to lose our flight.my husband just stopped another taxi drivingby and she says no you can’t. Excuse me? Im not going to lose my flight because you have business with your taxist.she offended us saying next time beresponible

First time at a hotel not directly in the Gran Via but just few steps on a side street. The convenience and the price for value are great.

Very good

nice hotel with easy access to the main actractions in Madrid 20 meters away from Gran Via, they led me check in at 9.30 am when the check in is at 12 pm. The room was clean and neat with a strong wi fi. I come back here in my next trip to Madrid.

It's right in the middle of shopping, historical sites, restaurants for all budgets! You can walk to these sites or just holt a cab at the corner. Our concierge was very kind to do that for us.

Love the place

The property was very convenient, it was an amazing location. Staff were very nice and helpful. They did not have parking onsite and the parking around the hotel was not easy to access. The windows were paper thin, you could hear the noise from the street. The internet want not easy to access.

The hotel room is dated, dirty and smelled bad definitely will not recommend to anybody

Our hotel stay is completelt fine except for the elderly "gentleman" at the reception who was very rude and unhelpful to us. Our onward morning flight got cancelled (we were informed less than 12 hrs of the schedule) so I was rushing to have it rebooked online. The app and mobile website keep crashing so I politely requested the reception to check the website for me, but he said there was no internet on his computer (lie #1, how could they check emails or reservations???). So I showed him the local number of the airline so I could call them but he said he was too busy to call (there were no other guests on the lobby except for me). So I said can I just borrow your landline so I can call them myself, he said he has no phone. I pointed at the phone beside him, lying to my face again. Then he said he has no way to help me, he has a lot of things to do and he was very busy. I was very frustrated because I was already panicking on getting our flight rebooked (there was no other available direct flight to our destination) and the very unhelpful receptionist even shooed me away from his desk because he was too busy to think of any other way to help me. I wasn't some random person on the street, I was a hotel guest. And I expected some help from them because there was no one else I could ask in a foreign country. All other aspects of the hotel are ok, except for this man who should be retrained in handling guest problems.

Great Location in Madrid Center

The room lacked a few small things like having an iron, tea/coffee making facilities and there wasn't any soap provided in the bathroom, but the room itself was clean and comfortable. The hotel's location is both a pro and a con. It's in a very convenient location surrounded by shops and metro stops, but my room overlooked Gran Via which is very busy and noisy, even at 2am. People, cars and sirens could be heard all night.

Hotel is centrally located, everything is clean. The front desk was really helpful. The room that was initially given to us does not have a working AC. I went to the front desk to complain about it and we were told that its winter season, the AC won't work until May. ( I stayed last week of March an the temp was in the 70's) I insisted that I needed a room with a working AC, then they transferred me to a different room.

It’s super centric to most places. Staff was super nice and pleasant throughout my stayed. Definitely will stay there when ever we go back.

I would give this hotel high rating, except for the bathroom--which to me is by far most important part of stay. Sink faucet was so short, hard to wash hands. No pressure, not enough hot water, from non-temp controlled shower fixture, leaves hotel patrons fighting with each other for comfortable shower. Forget fancy tile and glass, just get fixtures that work!

Room was dirty, foul smell right after being cleaned. Maintenance did the bed, and reused the sheets. In general, it wasn’t what I was expecting at all. Good location (Gran Via) but that shouldn’t be all.

The location of the property was excelent, near the important spots of Madrid.There was no need to take the subway, even if its very close, the city being so walkable friendly. The hotel was nice, clean. The room for 3 people was big enough. I would totally recommend and I would choose this stay again

We had a room with an amazing view of Gran Via. The location is central to everything (metro, shopping, restaurants, historic buildings). Staff were very friendly and helpful in giving recommendations of where to eat/visit in the area. This was our best stay we had in Madrid!

Mold in the shower, no minibar/fridge despite advertising one, unstable wifi connection, and disappointing that access to the fitness equipment is not included in the stay.

I've stayed here over the years. I've found it reasonably priced and nice. This time, not so much. When I checked in, there was a woman complaining her air conditioning wasn't working. I should have checked mine immediately. After returning from a night out, we found our room horribly hot. The young gentleman from the front desk came up to the room and said there was nothing he could do. At morning check-out, I informed the gentleman behind the desk what happened, and he simply apologized. No offer to change the room price. Did I mention Spain was in the middle of a heat wave? Disappointed.
