Lovely hotel, did not get maid service over a 5 night stay, but was not in the room much.

The hotel was welcoming and comfortable. I absolutely loved our room, two rooms separated by a jack and Jill bathroom. We just wished the hot tub was working. The employees were very friendly and helpful. Definitely want to stay again next winter

We stayed in the Heritage Suit which is facing the from Grand Ave. So if your bothered by road noice it's not for you as well as right at the top of the stairs and everyone coming and going whether drunk or not we hear everything. The tub in the room was not clean enough to take a bath. Asked twice for it to be scrubbed on the walls and they said they did it but they did not because the very mark my finger made checking how clean it was (skin and hard water rolled up) was still there. So was pretty disappointed that I could r take a bath which is one of the reasons I chose that room.
It's an ok place. Likely won't stay again. Location is convenient to walking downtown for sure. That was probably our only preferred thing about staying there. Staff was also nice.

Pros: Friendly staff, great location in the town, comfortable beds.
Cons: Seriously outdated bathrooms, very small rooms with no place to store clothes, paper thin doors creating sound issues. Finally, when fire alarm went off there were no staff present and security company did not answer phone creating unsafe situation.

I cannot express enough how BEAUTIFUL The Bristol is. Parking was super convenient, right outside the doors. It was right downtown, so everything was easily walkable. One of the most highly recommended restaurants was actually right under/beside The Bristol (Mazzalo’s). The staff was so kind. The rooms are pretty small which was a little aggravating when it came to getting ready and having your suitcases laid out but it wasn’t that big of a deal. Just something to be aware of. Don’t be expecting a super spacious room. Only issue we had (and it wasn’t anything serious) was that we got all excited to use the hot tub after seeing it had the cutest little view of downtown, and it was FREEZING. Ha. Again - nothing serious. Just realize and enter with caution so you don’t polar plunge!

The Bristol is a perfect hotel for a couple or single traveler looking to enjoy the best of Steamboat. The location cannot be beat with a plethora of quality shopping and dining within walking distance. The hotel is very clean and quaint. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The free bus system throughout town and up and back to the mountain is excellent. No need to have a car. I loved everything about The Bristol and would definitely make this my go to when I'm in Steamboat.

So glad we chose the Bristol Hotel. Right in downtown, you’re close to restaurants, stores, and lots of things to do, plus you get the tre flavor of an authentic Western town with beauty and deep history. The hotel was comfy, cozy, quiet, and had everything we needed. The entire staff, from Hailey, to Jessica, to Jeff, to Cindy, were kind, helpful, and accommodating…no request was to big, and they treated us like family! I will definitely recommend this boutique hotel, with its rich history and wonderful staff, and plan to visit it on my next trip!

This hotel has location going for it, very convenient downtown and walkable to restaurants, bars, shopping. Great location. For the price paid, I expected a more upgraded hotel, it is getting a bit run down and not as clean as I expected. Eclectic and botique - yes. But they don't appear to be reinvesting in the condition of the facility to deliver a better experience for the price paid.

Great stay

The staff was very friendly and the hotel is perfectly located in town. Our king sized bed took up most of the room, which could really use some updating. The AC unit didnt seem to work. Overall, a nice stay but not ideal if the details matter to you.

The location of this Hotel is amazing!
We were a bit disappointed the hot tub was closed this stay, other then that it was great.
The front desk staff was awesome and they had fresh coffee and delicious pastries in the mornings.
This was our third visit and have booked it again in December.

We loved the location and the charm of The Bristol. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bed was super cozy and comfy. Loved that there is coffee and tea available all day. Didn't use the hot tub, but looked inviting. Walking along the Yampa River was wonderful. Definitely will come back.

Friendly staff helped with check-in. The hotel is perfectly set at the end of Main Street making walking the area very easy.

A small problem with their parking. Nearby restaurant patrons and workers in ale spots away from the hotel customers.

Rooms and bathrooms were extremely small. Rooms and bathrooms were dirty.

The location is a perfect place. I am only sending this for your information. The place needs a little TLC and the lobby is a little dirty. The scones and coffee are great, and the staff was very friendly.

We had a fantastic time. The staff was incredible and super friendly. Our room was updated but still kept the charm off the building. And the scones were hot fresh and delish. Very nice touch from your basic continental breakfast

Dirty and decrepit hotel, in desperate need of a *very* deep clean and a massive facelift. Don't be tempted by the downtown Steamboat location — like others, I suggest staying in a nicer / cleaner hotel or condo by the ski area and making the short drive or bike ride into town.
Specific issues with the hotel:
- Dirty bathroom upon check-in, including a filthy bathroom floor (had not been cleaned).
- Old / worn / stained toilet seat in desperate need of a replacement.
- The shower flooded the bathroom each time it was used. We had to use the trash bin and ice bucket to hold the shower curtain in place.
- Dozens of hairs from different people in the "clean" bedding.
- We had a nightstand lamp that wasn't plugged in, with no outlet to plug it into.
- Creaky couch and mattress.
- Broken shades in the living room and sleeping area of our suite.
- Unwelcoming, disinterested front desk staff.
- They had "lost" one of the keys to our room, so we were only issued one key (despite needing two). No apology from the hotel staff for the inconvenience.

Overall we were really happy with our stay. The staff is top notch and friendly. Coffee and light breakfast was an awesome surprise. This is an older hotel in the heart of downtown where you can walk to many restaurants, shops, Yampa River.
2.0
The Bristol has a fantastic location on Main Street; with the Yampa River 1 block behind it. Everything in walking distance. It’s an older property; and rooms and bathrooms are comfortable and clean yet pretty small.

The rooms are very small and need updating. The only thing good about this hotel is the location. Not worth the price.

The staff was ver friendly, great location downtown. Very clean. The bathroom was small no counters space at all fir iron curlers or make up

Jeff and his staff are the absolute best! We truly enjoyed our stay!

Well situated in Steamboat Springs to visit the shops and near to restaurants.
The rooms are not clean, many dust in there.
In one room the air conditioning was not fonctionning until remedial by myself.
Even the good situation, adjacent to an excellent italian restaurant( the Mazzola), I would not fecommand this hotel.
4.0
No elevator -Curbed staircase. I should have ordered accessible room. I am visually impaired and walking with guide dog up and down curved staircase that didn’t have banister on both sides made it difficult.
3.0
It was in a great spot, loved most things about it, but definitely get a suite. The other rooms, the one we stayed in, was tiny. Nowhere to put anything or sit or move. Tiny bathroom. But we saw other rooms with a couch and desk and space to move, and those looked good. They just didn't have any available. Great place if you get a bigger room.

Great location and fantastic staff!

Hotel is in a great location. Very tired interior. Room had an air conditioner that smelled very musty and had green mold line down the wall. Breakfast fruit not fresh .

Perfect for staying downtown near shopping and restaurants!

A good little hotel. A small, cozy room with a very comfy bed. Perfect location and very friendly staff. Would definitely come back if in the area.
4.0
Excellent property. Room was cute and nicely updated. Only complaint is our bedroom was over the kitchen of the restaurant next door, so it was incredibly noisy even past midnight. A warning or even ear plugs would have been great. By the time we heard the noise it was past the front desks hours, so we couldn’t get a room switch. Without the noise it was an excellent experience.

Nice little place
4.0
Management was phenomenal, Jeff was super helpful. Some of the over night girls on staff were a little inexperienced but not really an issue. Room was a bit smaller than expected, but great location to explore the city and slopes.
2.0
Rooms were very very small, luckily we didn’t have to spend much time in them. Bathroom was very outdated- paint chipping off the tub and the walls. No counter or sink space. Shower was slow to drain so you were standing in water the whole time. Walls were thin and we could hear when any adjoining room closed a door or turned on the water. It’s a quaint “historic” place but we won’t be back. Best quality is the location for sure.

Needed a second bed due to change in pair who was using room. Front desk provided us with a blow-up bed since the hotel was full.
3.0
It was a cute property, but dated. Staff was great. Our room was a littly "funky" with a narrow maze of a Jack-&-Jill bathroom between the bedroom and room with a couch. The hotel itself was a little noisy. Again, staff was great, but facility was worn.
5.0
The Bristol is a very cute boutique hotel on the main downtown street. We enjoyed the charm and convenience of all downtown restaurants and shopping. Loved it.
