I'd rather sleep in my car then here . Burns all over the bed, paint chipped off the walls , crackheads in the parking lot , and it smelled terrible. If you need a place where no one cares what's going on in your room like killing hookers this is your place

I was so relaxed

The unit itself was very clean but the bed covers need some help.

The hotel was super super dirty, roaches were all over one of the 2 rooms we rented. The second room just had a few but that's still a few to many. Sheets on bed were stained and had cigarette burns. One room had roaches sin the beds!!!!! Woke up to roaches on my toddlers pillow and crawling on him. Walls are staned and damaged. Sink wasn't attached to counter was just kinda free floating. Unless your desperate don't come here. We didn't even stay our second night we packed up and left once all the roaches started coming out.

Horrible didnt even get a room

My wife and I booked here in early November. When we checked in, there was a lot of extra activity in the parking lot and in front of other rooms. While I was unloading our bags, I actually got to witness a drug deal happen in front of the room next to ours. We immediately loaded our things and found a different hotel to stay at. During the week we were in Savannah, there was at least twice the police were called to this property. We found out from a local friend that it was because of an assault and a shooting. The manager/owner refused a refund and I was unable to get one through this website. I personally carry a concealed handgun and did not feel same at this hotel.

People standing outside, clearly on flakka, twitching and talking loud, just didn't feel safe there.

This hotel is for someone that's needs a place for a night, i would not recommend this hotel for extended stay. The chair is stained to the point that u wouldn't want to sit in it, the ceiling is falling down, the pipes in the bathroom moves..not secured, night stand has carvings in it, the place in general is not clean.the compound does not look safe..

Upon entering we killed two spiders in our room. Mattress worn out.

Room was clean but saw two roaches in bathroom. It was a cozy room although it was hard to figure out how to change the channel I just did not worry anymore I stayed for a day.

The WiFi didn’t work at all

Things were great. No problem with check in. They understood when i came late because of the weather

My room was ok. AC ok, comfortable bed but broken laminated floor close to the main door because of the water liking out of the fridge. Bathroom ok but towels dirty and very rough.

I found hair in my bathroom sink ... Floor look old .... And alot of noise outside . the bedding was nice , oh it sleep wonderful....

Location was awesome everything u need is walk distance or a 10 min drive the only bad thing was no hot water

Great staff.Dislike people standing outside your door talking all hours of the night. And the cops being called for zn apparent domestic abuse . Just picked the wrong night to stay i guess.

Smelled. No smoke detector, coachroavjrs, dirty towels. Many Broken items. Didn’t want to refund second night. We got in late or wouldn’t have stayed the first night.

This motel is filthy and very nasty. It is way over due for a makeover. The fact that it has no pool is a big problem as well.

No wifi no amenties of anything room didnt even get cleaned while we we where there no clean towels after the intial check inn all other rooms where cleaned on Satirday June the 2nd but ours no do not disturb signs avaible at all room was dingy no extra lock on door no lock on bathroom door holes in wallholes in wall

Staff barely spoke any English language, the hotel room was not cleaned besides the bed & the shower and door handles broke off. I had to clean the shower myself.

First, you need to understand this is a hotel for only 39.99$ per night. Then we can discuss this. I am a solo traveler, so my budget is limited. Gateway Inn is the cheapest hotel in Savannah I could find. However ,the service, location and room condition ain't bad. There are a few fast food dinners around, and it is only 20 mins from the central park, 25 mins from the river street. Room is clean and quite. To be honest, I don't expect any surprise. What I want just a roof I can rest under it for one night safe and sound, which Gateway Inn achieved it. So, overall, Gateway Inn is good enough for this unbeatable price. If you are expecting something more, this is probably not the one for you: )

Room wasn't bad, felt safe.

This was probably the worst experience I have every had with a hotel. To start with it is a small property which in of itself is not bad, however, check out is 11:00 a.m. and check in is 1:00 p.m. I arrived about eight (8) minutes before 1 and the desk clerk stated that he would have to check to see if there were any rooms available as housekeeping was still cleaning the rooms. He did mention that I was early, which I was by only eight (8) minutes. By the time he walked out of the office to check for me it was after 1:00 p.m. Upon his return he stated that he did not have any King size beds available, but could put me in a double if that would be okay with me. I told him that would be fine. He got me all checked in and I went up to the room he had given me. The door was wide open as they were trying to dry the floor that was still soaking wet and smelled of bleach. When I went into the restroom the toilet paper was not even on the holder, it was sitting on the back of the toilet. The door knob did not work and it was loose. There was dust on half of the lamp shades throughout the room. In the end, I got my money back and canceled the reservation. I do not recommend this location.

This hotel was so nasty. I had to go buy cleaning products. I ended up leaving before checking and did not even sleep there because I was overcome with bed bugs. I itched so badly. Hair was on my pillows, blood drops on my sheets. Nasty Nasty Nasty. Very displeased. I wouldn't let my dog stay there. I'd warn my enemy to stay away.

I didn't stay. I showed up seen it and left. And was still charged. I was supposed to get a $60 voucher because it was so horrible.

Hotel pictures show pool, but when we arrived it was filled in with dirt. Toilet overflowed all over floor and they had to move us to another room. Rooms we not very clean and smelled.

I have bites and rashes all over my body. Hotel staff nice and looked as a normal room until next morn woke up attacked by bugs.
