Rooms were nice enough, breakfast was decent. Great coffee.
Very expensive and they closed the bar early as it wasnt busy, but being residents we arrived back at 9.30pm after our meal out to have a drink in the bar and they said they just closed!

Location was excellent. Comfortable.
Having to move my car before 8am when parking restrictions come into force outside the hotel and look elsewhere to park up before breakfast. Despite being informed that soya milk was available there was none at breakfast so couldn’t have my morning cuppa. Vegan options were available.
I appreciate the hotel is an old building but could hear our neighbours talking and snoring which did affect my daughter’s night sleep but I slept well!

The hotel is in a perfect position right opposite the Abbey but it's overpriced, as it's really just rooms over a pub. One member of staff, the young man who checked us in, was wonderful but we experienced grumpiness with quite a few of the others who seemed to be a little fed up with guests generally.
Many items in the room but no water and no fridge ... would have expected these for the price.
