Nice hotel

Warm welcome from the owners and staff, the ability to store your bikes in the garage and facilities for the bike(tool station). The location is great for cycling the Mosel and Rhine cycle paths. A great selection for breakfast to set you up for the day, a nice evening meal in the beer garden is available limited menu but a good take away a few doors down the road with good choices. Overall a really nice place to stay I would definitely go again.

Fab hotel near the Mosel

Fab hotel and sooooo friendly. Honesty bar and a lovely bar area.. Good restaurant near by, fancied pizza. Overall a very positive stay.

This is such a gem of a hotel! Friendly family service, great food for breakfast and dinner, including veggie options, and lovely wine. Perfect location near the river. We loved it and will be coming back.

Super nice and compatible place

We felt very welcomed and in good hands right from the first moment. The staff are incredibly nice, and Pea is adorable. The room was specious, and convenient. The garden is cute and the food in the restaurant is great.

Air conditioning is necessary and currently is unavailable.

Breakfast was wonderful! They also kindly let us bring our dog into the dining area. They even let us stay an extra night despite it being a holiday the next day (the hotel was closed) so we could extend our trip. The hotel is a short walk to a local train station, from which we hiked around nearby wineries. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, the restaurant happened to be closed for dinner the nights that we were there so we couldn't try it and the sauna was also closed, I think (COVID-related?). Not really the hotel's fault since we knew before visiting.

The staff was really kind and we felt like at home. The dinner and breakfast were very tasty and a it had a good variety of cocktails.

Good hotel with a nice clean room and bathroom. Breakfast really rich of choice.

No lift for reach the rooms at the upper floors. Free parking but not big enough for all the cars of the guests.

Authentic atmosphere in whole the establishment. Pleasant personel ready to help with extra informations

Rigid closure of entrance garden sittings before closing time even when others stayed longer after Matras, although I am normally fan of firmer ones, this was bit too much

The room was very light in the morning. There were no big curtains, the curtains were 30cm wide and just for decoration.

Very clean and comfortable room. Strong shower. Perfect guest garden, cool bar and nice breakfast room. Good choices at breakfast . The people who run the hotel are friendly and helpful. Lots of nice river walks nearby. Would stay again.

A nice German style family hotel, but pimped up to make it more comfortable and more from now. Great friendly owners, super location and fantastic fresh food!

Cosy,family feeling and worth it

We enjoyed our stay there very much. The staff is super friendly,willing to help with advice, suggestions,directions etc. We felt very well taken care of and greeted always with a smile. I would stay there again! Thank you!

We enjoyed everything.The only issue,if we were to mention one,was that the first 2 days or day and a half they had issues with the internet. But as we were on holiday there we did not spend a lot of time inside,so did not affect us that much.
