I was very pleased with the look of the hotel - small but not shabby, somewhat minimal in design. Technically everything worked as it should, the room and bathroom was spotlessly cleaned. Electricity sockets functional, but there was not many of them, though I found one working USB slot too. There was lamp with adjustable light for the night (took some time to figure out how it works). No issues with wifi. Fridge and safe were extra bonuses. I found some clothes-hangers, but not many spots to hang them and dry the clothes really. AC worked fine and was not too hard to learn to adjust. Bed was big enough and comfortable. Window shade was pretty solid - very appreciated (especially with the view towards the street).
The continental breakfast was a decent choice of things, with quite a few salty and sweet options, teas and coffees, you could even boil an egg yourself to your taste - all nicely served. (Though it would be also nice to have an option to make/get a breakfast pack for later - for those of us who don't usually eat in the mornings).
I appreciate the friendliness and helpfulness of the reception staff - I got all the information on the stay and getting around the town, including the helpful booklets. Check-in/check-out and payment easy.
I did not have time to use two swimming pools - backyard and rooftop - of the facility.
While the hotel is just 20 minutes walking from the station - which is good - it sits at a roundabout crossing of main roads - where cars access the whole region of the lake - and you could hear it. On the sunny weekend, there was a traffic jam next to the hotel with car noise all day and surprisingly even all night (!). With closed window, shades, and earplugs - I had a good quiet night - but sleeping with open windows or a nice view was out of question. The single room was also pretty tight, but with AC on silent mode I had a fresh air and solid sleep. For short stays when one intends to spend most of the time outdoors, this was acceptable. Slightly pricey for this location and size though.

Friendly helpful staff and breakfast was decent, everything you needed. Pool small but clean.
Awful location situated on a very busy road/ roundabout and next to a power station.
15 minute walk from lake and town.
Rooms very basic, very drab and tiny bathroom, small balcony. Many overlooking the noisy road or power station.
