The hotel is very clean. The staff is wonderful and will do anything to help. They even stayed way past the normal end of check-in time because our plane was so late getting to Inverness. I would definitely recommend Smithton Hotel!

Plenty of parking. Thin walls, though, which meant you could hear everything, and I mean everything people are doing next door. Convenient location as the start of our travels in scotland. Rooms were right size for our family. Staff was amazing! Breakfast was better than most placed I'd say. Would stay again.

Do not judge this hotel from the outside appearance. From the moment of check-in, the staff are friendly and very helpful. The decor is perhaps a little dated, but everything is clean (in fact spotless). A really comfortable room and very little noise from either internal or external sources. Plenty of parking space. Food was really good and the portions generous. The visitor book is full of superlatives.
