Lakes Boutique Hostel Apartment Windermere

Lakes boutique hostel We stayed in Jan 26 as a party of 20 for a family birthday celebration. We had a mixture of ages within our party from 2 to 80, and I can safely say that everyone was catered for. The accommodation was spotless and so well equipped. Anything we required for cooking, entertaining or cleaning was all available to use. From the bed linen to the tea towels, everything was freshly laundered and you could tell that there had been lots of care in making the hostel bright and flawless. Each room had comfortable beds, with everyone in party commenting on how well they had slept. There were plenty of towels (soft and fluffy rather than scratchy, always a plus!) The bathrooms are well equipped with a double shower head and plenty of space to hang items. The toilets are definitely vibrant and give you a chuckle. In the main living area, there is an abundance of seating from comfy sofas to novelty bar stools. All arranged so that large parties like ours could entertain and converse without being hindered by separate rooms. The large dining table with bench seating was also fabulous for games, eating or just chatting. So many fantastic touches in the lighting fixtures and decor made it a fun place to sit and chat. The property is very centrally located, only a minute walk from Booths (supermarket) and a few minutes walk into the village. A quirky beautiful property with so many gorgeous features - we would return again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to others looking for accommodation in Windermere. The host Amanda was super accommodating to any requests and more than happy to help us if we needed it. Couldn’t have asked for any more!

It was comfortable. It has everything you needed already there. It was clean. It was well positioned. It was great.
