Room overlooking the botanical gardens was lovely. Clean, quiet,comfortable. staff were very helpful.
The area from the hotel to the train station is VERY scary as a woman. We decided to Uber from the hotel and back because of strangers being inappropriate or intimidating towards us on the 10 minute walk.
Also, the beds were very very squeaky, causing some disruption to our sleep.

The hotel itself has a free eat vibe and we loved the aesthetics and look and feel. Great natural light and lounge/ lobby area!
The only problem with this hotel and all Hoxton hotels is the closet/cupboard space! We had booked the biggest room available and had one small cupboard probably 50cm wide. No shelves and no drawers although there was lots of space in the room to include such furniture.

The design and cozy atmosphere in the bar/reception. The reception crew was super nice especially Sara!
The heating wasn’t working, it was super cold in the room. We did notify the reception but nothing was sorted. Every time we called reception no one was picking up- we had to go downstairs. Room service to be avoided - it says asap -30 min, we waited an hour and finally cancelled. There was a wedding and the staff wasn’t able to control the breakfast.
