This is a modern hotel, and the furnishings are on the spartan side. That being said, the room was large, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom comfortable. There was also a comfortable and chair and a desk, which is not always the case in such hotels. The lobby is small, but I was able to sit there in a comfortable chair and read while my room was being cleaned. I didn't try the breakfast buffet because I had to leave so early for the airport. For dinner and lunch there are several very good restaurants in the neighborhood (Greek, Pan-Asian, Italian). The staff were friendly and helpful. Accessible to Central Berlin and the Berlin Airport via the S9 SBahn and located in Zone B.
The hotel is a little farther from the S. Adlerhof station than I had hoped, but certainly walkable with luggage. Construction on the S9 line began the day I needed to get to the airport and the signage was confusing, but the stop for the replacement bus turned out to be closer to the hotel than the station was.

The location was great with bonus point of bus stop, trams just outside the hotel. The staff was very helpful, polite and the property was clean and fresh.

The room was nice and clean, and rather quiet, even though it faces a big street. The breakfast was very good, with plenty of options (including vegan), although a bit pricey. The location was excellent for my needs, and well connected to other parts of the city.
Other than the price for breakfast, nothing I can think of.

Modern, well built place. Nice rooms, surprisingly well-equipped gym in the basement. It had cardio machines, free weights, benches and at least one multi-rack for squats and cable exercises, etc. Good shower, no problem with pressure or heat. Rooms seem well-insulated, didn't hear anything from neighboring guests. The free wifi worked fine, just took a couple of minutes for the log-in page to open in the browser (case of the laptop; on my phone it was fast). . Area around the hotel is so-so. Not bad, not great. There are a few restaurants, plus a Subway sandwich place and a cafe serving bagels across the street. Good enough but QUITE far from the airport, not to mention the center of Berlin.
This hotel would be good value and I'd give it five stars were it not for two things.
1. My room looked down on the main street and tram station. Traffic was audible throughout the night, even with windows closed. It wasn't awful but for the noise-sensitive, ear plugs are recommended. Windows definitely not "airport grade".
2. The aircon was switched on when I got there. I switched it off for a while because it was blowing down on the desk area where I was sitting. Since it was fairly cool outside, I didn't switch it back on when I went to sleep. Later, I woke up as the room had gotten a little too warm and stuffy. At this point I could get neither the aircon nor any regular ventilation to work. No matter what I tried, nothing happened. So I had to open the windows a couple of times to ventilate the room. Not awesome. I know I could have called the front desk but who wants to do that when they're half asleep? This sort of thing is just unacceptable, hence the low score from me.
