Lovely stay in hotel, breakfast excellent, waitress Wendy very friendly. Owner Simon was lovely too. Overall excellent value. Would highly recommend this hotel.
Slight problem is the hotel is very dark at night. You can't see the hotel until you are on top of it, coming from Berwick. Badly lit car park as well, two of our party tripped because it was so dark. Could do with a light in the corner of the building. Didn't see Simon before we left to ask about the light situation as we feel it is a health and safety issue.

Breakfast was excellent
The fact that we were a long way out of Berwick meant that having a bar and restaurant in house was really a happy bonus
The view from the room and that’s all
