The location, the room was quirky, large shower, friendly staff, lovely food and service. Free car parking and no charge for dog.
The room was overlooking the beer garden and outdoor bar and disco the night i stayed there was a party being held it was very loud until 1030pm then it went super quiet. I was very tired when I arrived so would have preferred a quieter experience than a loud party atmosphere when I arrived at 5pm. The pub itself was very quiet.

Great overnight stay for our early tunnel crossing. Friendly staff, lovely spotlessly clean room.
It is an old building and rooms above pub so a bit noisy.

Free car parking, quiet in the rooms. Clean and comfortable.
Shower didn’t work, nor television. No food available on arrival and no warning to say it wasn’t being served. Yes football was on but other pubs nearby were serving. Looked for staff when leaving but couldn’t find anyone to report problems to.
