Breakfast was delicious, the lobby was a great place to hang out/work, the staff was helpful and friendly. The location is fabulous - so many great places to eat around there, a post offices, beautiful churches, the big square with a water fountain that people sit around, groceries, etc. The room was comfortable and pretty and had a big, gorgeous window. Price was reasonable.
The shower only has the half-door so the bathroom basically floods when you shower and they don't give you enough towels/mats to truly dry the wetness. The lobby did get stuffy/warm, but I brought my own portable fan so I could hang out there (on hot summer days) in a pleasant temperature. Brought my own black tea to breakfast as their caffeinated option was green tea.

We loved the location and the breakfast was amazing.
The hotel itself inside was very dark, and also the reception was not very helpful.

Really lovely but basic room, comfortable bed which was the main thing so we always slept well after a day of exploring. The room was nice and quiet, a little bit of street noise but not too bad. Really great location away from the main centre, I'm glad we booked here as some of the central areas of Brussels were a little scary at night! We were glad to be back in our rooms nice and early ready for the next day. A 15 min walk to Central Station where you can travel to Bruges and Ghent for the day, highly recommend! There are several bars and restaurants around the corner without having to go back into the centre of the city, great if you've been out all day and want to nip and get food before you go to bed.
Breakfast was nice although same every day, often cutlery missing or juices needed topping up etc. The seating area is quite shabby and could do with a refresh but overall it was all we needed. Most of the time the reception was unmanned and the only thing missing is a bar to have a drink in the evenings before bed but overall a great stay with everything we needed.
