About this house rental
This comfortable bungalow is less than a half mile to the ocean, a few blocks to the Naval Postgraduate School, and walking distance to downtown Monterey's breweries, bakeries, restaurants and shops. The light-filled home opens to a huge backyard where you can barbecue, relax in the sun, or get cozy by the wood-burning chiminea. The kitchen is fully-equipped (minus a dishwasher), there's an office area in the living room along with a fireplace and a separate dining area. Two bedrooms (one King, one Queen) share a hall bath with a tub/shower. Driveway parking for several cars and street parking (72 hour limit).

Great location, walking distance to the beach and wharf. Very well appointed and maintained rental. It is clear the owners think about and care about the comfort and needs of their renters. It has everything you will need for an enjoyable stay, plus a beautiful and useful garden area that is professionally maintained. We stayed here for over a month and plan on returning.

The home itself was beautiful, the yards are well-maintained, the location is very convenient for getting to downtown Monterey or onto the highway, and the neighborhood is pretty quiet! Only had a few minor hiccups with the home that received extremely prompt service when brought to the property manager's attention (responded to and addressed within 2-3 days), not many power outlets in the home but not an issue for a single person/couple staying in the home. Great time!
