Great location and ticks the boxes of a lovely Scottish house by a loch. So handy for the viaduct as well.

The food was good as expected, the room was OK
The hotel did not have a lift and our room was on the top floor making it difficult to carry up bags, however the manager did offer to carry up our case.
We came down the several flights of stairs to have a drink to relax after our journey to the hotel. After waiting a few minutes, the Bar manager came behind the bar and said he would serve us in 10-15 minutes as he had a party of 20 persons coming in for afternoon tea? I did not expect to have to wait for a drink never mind be told we would have to wait, so we climbed back up stairs to our room without. The price of £390 per night was expensive.
