Much was positive with one negative. Great location between the Duomo and train station. Very pretty room in an old building. Spotless, comfortable bed.
Quality of breakfast was very good. Staff was helpful with arrival later than expected.
The negative: Arrival was too late for a usual breakfast order. NO breakfast was available for us the morning after arrival. We would have really appreciated some ordinary items that morning.
Altogether a 9/10 experience.

Very central . 2 min walk from the Duomo. Very quiet rooms despite being in the heart of Florence. Very good staff Francesca and her husband! Excellent breakfast!
Rooms are art deco and spacious.
Bathroom is slightly old and had a leak in the shower cubicle which was repaired promptly.
No slippers or hand lotion/ conditioner provided.
All in all excellent property if not exceptional’
The lift is very tiny - can only fit one person with a suitcase or 2 people on their own without luggage
