Great location, really nice shower and really comfortable bed. I couldn't get the TV to work late at night and the owner went out of their way to help.
Sadly no parking but the staff told me where I could go and park which was helpful

A beautiful room with a fabulous bath!
A lovely meal was enjoyed with friends.
The delivery needs to be left away from front door. Made it difficult to exit through a gap when piled in front.

The kings arms is in a great location not only for the races but for a lovely stay in the lake district with many great places to visit. we stayed in the Wordsworth room which was beautiful.
There was nothing not to like.

The location of the pub is fantastic and the staff are friendly, the building is old full of charm and character with uneven floors which I really love, all the rooms are named and themed after writers /poets eg Keats. Beds were comfy with clean sheets and were given good sized towels. Food in the pub is very tasty.
The bathroom had a weird smell like damp and were a little dirty around windows, could do with a lick of paint on the walls and a deep clean. If you want an early night ask for a room at the back of the pub to avoid the people leaving at closing time. (Didn't bother us too much)
