Lovedddd this B&B so much!! What an absolute gem. You can really tell how much attention and care Valentina has put into every little detail, from the beautiful decor to making sure we had everything we could need during our stay. The fridge was stocked with fresh fruit, yogurts and drinks, and she even had nice cakes waiting for us. Not to mention all the other snacks we could choose from. Such a nice touch that made us feel so welcome. And the views from the balcony are just stunning!! Honestly, could've sat there for hours just taking it all in. Pro tip: set your alarm early at least once - watching the sunrise from the balcony is absolutely breathtaking and so worth it.
Another tip: if you're taking the train from Rome like we did, make sure you take into account there's a hike up the hill from the station to the B&B that's quite steep. But again, very much worth it!

Die Lage in Castel Gandolfo (2min vom Apostolischen Palast), die Aussicht vom Balkon auf den Albaner See, die Freundlichkeit der Gastgeberin, die liebevolle Dekoration und eine sehr gute Ausstattung des Appartments, der Kühlschrank war gefüllt mit Obst, Getränken, Yoghurt, etc.

Wonderful stay at B&B Carpe Diem vista lago. Amazing location, lovely comfortable room, generous breakfast and snacks, helpful host. A lot of thought has gone into providing everything a guest might need and Valentina was helpful, accommodating and had lots of local tips and advice. The location was lively and the view was beautiful.
Everything suited the 3 of us for a short stay. You can park for free down the hill (5-10 minutes walk) but might want to drop off any heavy luggage before parking. Valentina will advise.

Carpe Diem was a beautiful apartment overlooking the lake. Very well appointed and extremely generous extras for our enjoyment - juices, water, fruit, local bakery items including biscuits, tarts, pikelets, jams and yoghurts. Valentina, our host was very welcoming and helpful.
The location at Castel Gandolfo was a quiet and peaceful village less than 1 hour from Rome. Lots of restaurants and bars that also gave us options to enjoy the local cuisine and panorama. Highly recommend this apartment to fellow travelers.
