The room located in the Sassi was stunning with a large terrace and the most beautiful views. Francesca was very welcoming and the wine and prosecco was a lovely treat. The bed was very comfortable and the bath was heaven. This place is pure luxury in an amazing area.

This place is the location to book in Matera. Make sure you choose the queen room with the private patio. The views are absolutely magical. I would have loved to stay a second night just to enjoy the patio some more. The room itself is huge and very comfortable. Lots of restaurants nearby. Not a long walk from the suggested parking. Just make sure you closely read the walking directions, and you should find the location alright. There were several snacks and drinks provided, which was very thoughtful.

Nice decor but too many steps.
It is very nicely remodeled and has a huge bathtub. Unfortunately for us the 45 sloppy steps with luggages made the charms less attractive.
Taxi unable to access and they have 45 steps from the street to the room. With luggage it’s almost impossible. I had requested help with luggage bit did they any answer until we had 1/2 done and didn’t get answer when we left for help either. No one is at the hotel you communicate only by text and it takes time to get the answer.
