our room was delightful. Very comfortable and well-appointed to suit our requirements - 2 single beds.
I just wish they served breakfast, even if just a continental breakfast.

The host Tim of Stone Maiden Inn provided us with "antique" accommodations (centrally located) for our shopping & theatre getaway. Our room was a step back in time which also included all the modern perks you come to expected. Beds were comfortable. Parking was plentiful & we were able to leave our vehicle on site while we walked to the shops & theatres.
There are stairs to climb if you don't stay on main floor.

Charming Historic Character: The inn has a wonderful, authentic historic vibe and personality that made the stay enjoyable despite the building's age.
Plush Bathrobes: I really appreciated that bathrobes were provided in the room. This is a rare amenity in many places and was a very thoughtful touch.
Comfortable Bed: The bed itself was extremely comfortable and provided a great night's sleep.
Morning Coffee/Tea Station: Having complimentary coffee and tea available in the morning was a pleasant touch to start the day.
Overall Atmosphere: Despite a few minor maintenance issues, the overall ambiance was welcoming and memorable.
AC Unit Location & Windows: The window air conditioner was quite old, and because it blew air directly onto the bed, I had to keep it turned off. Additionally, the windows could not be opened, which prevented any fresh air from entering the room.
Bathroom Fixtures & Exhaust Fan: The shower control handle was loose and actually came off in my hand. Also, the bathroom lighting and exhaust fan are connected to a single switch, meaning the loud fan stays on continuously whenever the light is on. Having a separate switch for the fan would be a major improvement.
Room Layout & TV Visibility: Space in the room was very limited. The bed dominated the room, leaving only narrow pathways. Additionally, one of the bedposts directly blocked the line of sight to the television.
Lack of Breakfast: I was disappointed to find no full breakfast served, only morning coffee and tea. It would be a great addition to bring back a proper breakfast option.
