De locatie is helemaal top, direct in het centrum en bij het strand. Het appartement is heel schoon, prima ingericht en het ruime dakterras was een hele fijne extra! De wasmachine was ook een goede plus. Oven in de keuken was ook fijn. Alles werkte naar behoren.
Een slaapkamer heeft 2 losse 1 persoonsbedden, de andere twee hebben een bed van 1.40m, wat best krap was voor ons met 2 volwassenen.
Jon was goed bereikbaar en behulpzaam.
Het is een oud en daardoor een erg gehorig pand. Het appartement is op de 1ste verdieping. Je hoort dus af en toe mensen boven je. Een slaapkamer grenst aan het trappenhuis. Dat was voor mij echt te gehorig. Ik werd vaak wakker van deuren die dichtsloegen, mensen die praten en de trap op- en aflopen. Verder was er geen raam naar buiten, maar naar de 3de slaapkamer, dus als je je licht aandoet, verlicht je ook de andere slaapkamer die grenst aan de woonkamer :)
De slaapkamer met 2 losse bedden sloot aan op een gezamenlijke patio van 4 verdiepingen hoog. Ook daar had je veel last van luidruchtige (ruziemakende) buren, dus openzetten van de deur (enige ventilatie die mogelijk is), was daardoor niet fijn voor de kids.
Het was ondanks dat het buiten slechts 25-27 graden was in San Sebastián en er een ventilator (met timer van 2 uur) aanwezig was, voor ons ‘s nachts veel te warm in twee van de drie slaapkamers.
Het zijn punten waar de eigenaren weinig aan kunnen doen (behalve airco), maar die wel invloed hadden op de kwaliteit van ons verblijf en met name nachtrust. Het appartement met dakterras zelf is echt heel mooi en aangenaam, maar geluid en warmte maakten het voor ons niet comfortabel genoeg.

Great location for exploring San Sebastián. Big apartment with lots of space and balcony. Host was readily available and provided local advice. Key/lock system was easy to use and felt safe and secure.
No aircon, but fans did the job.

This apartment has a great central location in the Old Town but I guess you are paying for that location. Nice veranda, comfortable beds and sofa. Jon the owner is very nice and good communication with him.
For the money I think the apartment could do with a lot of refinement. I get you are paying for the location but really it is quite a basic apartment. Two rooms are very warm in the summer (fans are provided but not effective), for the price at least one air conditioning unit could be installed. The bathroom is small and the shower overflowed on to the floor - this was because the drain had not been cleaned for perhaps 6-12 months it was truly gross! The coffee machine is a stove top one. We could not really use the veranda at dawn or dusk as standing water in the basement below (not the owners fault) but this created mosquito issues. Veranda is very overlooked but you could say that adds local colour. Apartment wasn't 10/10 clean maybe 6/10. Again nothing to do with the owner but every time you walked out of the apartment - like every time! - someone had dumped bags of washing or rubbish right outside the door.
