The potential for a nice stay was eliminated by the hosts ineptitude

Location was fine. The property consists of rooms based around a central area. The main doors are smoked glass which means when the light is on in the central area, the rooms are lit as well. Not ideal. Breakfast was fairly meagre, but if you like yesterday's croissants you will be fine. There was a coffee machine in the room but no coffee or no coffee pot so a bit redundant. The photos are very slightly misleading in that I thought the room had a balcony. It's actually a communal balcony. This place has the potential to be great... but currently its just the potential.

This host is a disaster. I paid a large sum to stay for 2 nights. It took until 8pm in the evening before the host responded to 2 texts, 3 emails and 8 phone calls before I was finally provided with the code to enter the property. (I actually received the code as I was trying to book another room at another property). The property was booked at least 3 days prior to my arrival.The lack of communication from the host was based on a "system failure" which was total nonsense. If you are in the hosting business then the least you can do is to provide the necessary information to your clients in a timely fashion. And not a word of apology either. This also happened to another guest staying at the property. One such event like this is unfortunate. 2 events strikes me as just a little more than carelessness. Based on the inconsistency of service to multiple clients I could not recommend staying here. I was only in Florida for a few days but due to lack of access to property and uncertainty as to where I was going to be staying this day was effectively a write off. I normally dont write long reviews like this so let the fact that I did assist you in making up your own mind as to whether you should stay here or not.
