This is a very special place. You pay for the tranquility and the peace. You have a private beach all to yourself. And the deer are super friendly (yes). A great plus is you can BBQ on the beach yourself. Please fix the big fridge and make more kitchen utensils and plates and glasses available. That would make it even more positive.
I would come back.

We loved the location - quiet and secluded - away from everything but not so far away that you felt isolated. All very clean and amenities were as described.

Well, we were disappointed about the access to the water on the beach. It was covered in smelly, slimy sea grass and we were unable to go into the water. We could not use the kayaks.Overall the room and property was fanastic. As was the attentiveness of the staff.

By the description of the property I was was hoping for an amazing experience. The house exterior looked like it was in need of clean up. It just looked like the construction crew left and no one did detail cleaning Our room was on the upper level. It was called the Star room. Apparently there was a methane gas leak somewhere, as our room, the entire stay smelled like an unflushed toilet. It was a lingering odor. We had fans in the room, which helped. The house has this lovely weather vane on the top of the roof, which rotated with the wind. Unfortunately, it needed greasing! It squeaked and made noise all night! I was never able to speak directly to the management. I could only leave a message, and I was never called back. So, if you do rent at this VRBO, be aware,, no management will be of any help.
