The shower was nice and hot.
Location was pretty good, close to the main sites. Although when it got dark I didn’t feel safe there.
The owner didn’t speak a word of English. When I arrived he wasn’t there, I rang the bell and there was nobody. Luckily I had purchased e-sim so I could call him via WhatsApp and somehow with words like “check in” I managed to make him understand that I’m waiting to be let in and then he arrived but I had to wait. The furniture in the room was so old and damaged and the bed was looking dirty. I had to sleep under some blanket which didn’t have any cover and I don’t even want to know how many people have been sleeping under it before me. The balcony in my room was unusable cos it was dirty and the view was not nice. There were hair everywhere in my room and it was noisy I had to sleep with my earplugs on. Overall I felt a bit like a homeless person who is sleeping at a random place under dirty blanket. I was counting nights to leave the place. But I guess it is cheap compared to other places in Santiago so if you want to save money it’s okay for a few nights.
