The room was very clean and tastefully decorated. However, the staff at the reception were quite distant, whereas in a boutique hotel, a warmer and more welcoming attitude would be expected. As two female guests, perhaps because we stayed only one night, it felt strange to be given the room right by the entrance/office area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From the moment we walked in the front door to the moment we checked out, was a first class experience. The staff were all extremely knowledgeable, kind and helpful. The room was fresh, clean and relaxing. We loved the option to ride the bikes around town; that is an amazing perk. Even walking, all of the major activities and attractions are close.
We have added this to our list as our #1 option to stay next time we visit Newport.

Beautifully appointed, modern and clean rooms. Convenient to everything without being in the middle of traffic. Two suggestions - the hotel could really benefit from a small indoor area for people to sit and eat, play cards or just wait on friends and family. I'd also would have loved having at least one comfortable chair in the room. I'd stay here again.
