About this cabin rental
This Cabin is Located in Alpine, WY 36 miles Jackson Hole. It is in the trees and has great mountain views. Only 42 miles to Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park north of that. There is world class fishing in the Snake, Greys and Salt and Hobback rivers, all with in 20 miles of the house. Apline is also home to the Greys River Snowmobile trailhead. A great snowmobile area with hundreds of miles of groomed trails. You can ride from the house! The first floor of the house has two bedrooms with a bathroom which has a large tub. The third bedroom is a large loft upstairs with its own bathroom and is open to the great room below. There is a huge wrap around porch and a private balcony off the loft master. The kitchen and living area are one of a kind! Please feel free to give me a call to ask about my property or the area. I am an 18 year resident and happy to help out in any way.

The cabin is very nice and turns out to be very much like the representation and photos that appear online. It has an excellent kitchen and a wonderful wrap-around deck with a second floor balcony. Very nice. The interior woodwork is notable (walls, ceiling & floors), and the kitchen is beautiful. The kitchen has all the needed furnishings and fittings for cooking a full meal. The dining/eating area was more than big enough for 7 people. The living area has changed a bit from the pics found online, and there is a large-screen TV to the left of the fireplace. Some of the chairs/finishings seem a little run-down - but nothing major. Lighting is good. The upstairs loft area is nice, but the steps/staircase up to this second floor are very steep. Kids had trouble with it, and that made us a bit nervous. Overall, this is one of the better places we have rented.

The ambience of the log home was very nice. Lighting is pretty, but hard to see in kitchen even when at capacity. Beds were not very comfortable and the light above bathtub was burned out. Could use more amenities. It was a pretty setting and private. It was a long drive to Jackson Hole and Grand Tetons, but we were aware before booking. It is a scenic drive.
