Just steps to the Sand Castle Playground and Lake Kai, Kastaways is an adorable mid-sized cottage ideal for a family vacation or fall getaway.

Large covered front porch leads up to the front door where you step into a colorful great room with open living room concept—has a gas fireplace—dining room with a table seating 6 and another 4 at the kitchen counter total of 10 seats for the family to have meals together.
The kitchen has granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and every convenience.
Down a short hall is a cozy room with a daybed—great for grandma or a late-arriving guest. A bathroom is also located on the first floor outside the daybed room.
Out the back door is a deck with a grill and dining table framed by dune grasses and trees for extra privacy.
Kastaways second level has a huge master suite, attached bath with king bed and sitting area that opens to a covered veranda overlooking Childers Lane—perfect for morning coffee.
In addition, two roomy queen bedrooms that share a bath are also on this floor (2nd).
RESORT AMENITIES AND INFO * indicates a seasonal amenity.
4ft heated pool*, toddler pool*, basketball court*, tennis court, bocce ball court, shuffleboard*, Sandcastle playground, putting green, paddle boarding* and kayaking*, catch and release fishing. Parking Passes ($5 each) and Wristbands ($15 each) are required for all guests ages 4 and up mid-May through September.

My family and I have rented this exact house in this exact neighborhood multiple times and we always have a great day. It feels like our second home. The house is perfect for families with children. Plenty of space to have dinner altogether, multiple nice outside seating areas, extremely safe neighborhood, convenient parking, well working appliances, and plenty of room for all. We love the neighborhood and the amenities and the proximity to all of our favorite spots. The house is always clean and ready for us. I’m sure we will continue to come up for weekends in the summer for a long time to come.

We had a great seven day stay at Beachwalk Resort. The resort itself was great. All the different color, homes and cottages were adorable to walk by on your way to the beach or to the amenities provided. We stayed in a house called Kastaways. It was a little outdated, and the outdoor furniture had a broken seat. The house itself was nice, however, it needs a new washer dryer, and the lower toilet didn’t flush well. They also didn’t provide much silverware or mugs for morning coffee. We didn’t even use the back porch because it was small and overgrown with weeds. We walked to the beach daily, which was about a quarter mile walk. We did paddle boarding, pedal, boating, kayaking, tennis, the pool and ping-pong at the resort.
