It was a floor in a terraced building facing the Arno. Therefore, it was a nice location and easy to find. Upstairs very nice deck with view of the river, tower, etc. Very pretty. We were able to walk to tower and the walk around the river was also nice. The breakfast was a croissant and coffee at a cafe near the front of the building. It was fine, but really a light continental breakfast.
This is not a hotel with a staff on site. You had someone to call if there were a problems. I would recommend reading information from the hosts carefully. Even having done this the arrival/checkin was somewhat informal. A supervisor of the house cleaning staff was there and he was helpful to explain the system for entering and getting the key. There was a very small elevator for two people so we carried bags up 2 flights to get to the floor with the rooms, which was a converted multiroom apartment with keys kept in a combination lockbox just inside the entrance, which was accessed with another code. If the staff member were not there it would have been hard to figure these things out and its not clear to me that guests would be met.

Set in a stunning old building within easy walking h distance of restaurants, shops and attraction. Easy check in and communication.
We loved the cute balcony overlooking the city.

We never saw our host but she was very responsive if we had any questions. We had a very nice room and it was walking distance from the attractions we wanted to see.
Breakfast was at the cafe next door and was basically a croissant and a small bun with a little meat and cheese, juice and coffee. Not much protein. Our last day they only had a croissant and juice and coffee

Very central. Nice room. Comfortable bed.Bus stop to station right outside the property.
This could be a great place to stay if more care given to customers.
No housekeeping during 4 night stay. On 3rd day we were finally given fresh towels.
Bins were overflowing and no loo roll.
The reviews had talked about a friendly host but we never met him/ her. Only saw one young guy who seemed to be the gardener as on day one the balcony and seats next to our room were flooded by a hose on the rooftop by this person.
Complex codes to get in to property and to access the room. Tricky key to open room door.
