Whether you're escaping winter, working remotely, or simply slowing down for a while, the house is designed to make you feel at home from the moment you arrive.

Originally built in 1957 and recently reimagined, The Snowbird Retreat combines classic Palm Springs style with modern comfort. Natural stone, warm wood finishes, walls of glass, and beautifully landscaped outdoor spaces make it to move between the house and backyard.

Located in Deepwell Estates, one of Palm Springs' most sought-after neighborhoods, this 4BR/4.5BA home offers over 3,000 sq ft of well designed indoor-outdoor living, just minutes from downtown.

The renovation was designed first and foremost for a couple to enjoy as their own home, with plenty of space to host friends and family. Open living areas, a large stone fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen, and several outdoor gathering spaces make it equally comfortable for everyday living and time spent with guests.

Outdoor Living
The backyard is set up for spending the whole day outside. Have coffee on the covered patio, relax by the pool, and finish the evening by the fire pit or in the spa. Mature palms, landscaped grounds, and several seating areas give the backyard a private, comfortable feel.

Living Spaces
The kitchen, dining area, living room, and backyard flow together in one open space. A stone fireplace sits at the center of the room, while large glass doors bring in plenty of natural light and open directly to the patio and pool. There is room to cook, eat, read, or gather without feeling crowded.

City of Palm Springs Requirements:
The Snowbird Retreat is located in a quiet residential neighborhood where respecting our neighbors is essential. To help preserve the peaceful character of the community, we ask all guests to follow the house rules below throughout their stay.
Although this home is available exclusively for stays of 30 nights or longer, we ask guests to observe the City of Palm Springs noise standards and our house policies to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone.

• Maximum overnight occupancy: 8 guests.
• Maximum occupancy at any time: 12 people (including daytime visitors).
• Maximum of 4 vehicles.
• The primary guest must be at least 25 years old and be present during the entire stay. The primary guest must sign a separate rental agreement and provide a government-issue ID before check-in.
• Only registered guests and approved visitors are permitted.
• Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 10:00 AM.
• This is not a party house. Outdoor speakers, DJs, microphones, and amplified music are prohibited at all times. At no time may noise, including music, televisions, or other audio, be audible beyond the property line. Keeping doors or windows open in a way that allows indoor music or sound to be heard outside is also prohibited.
• In-person Meeting Requirement at check-in, or next day for late arrivals: All adults over the age of 18 must provide a signature upon arrival, ensuring they understand rules and regulations. They will also receive a copy of the rules and regulations and be given verbal instructions on noise, parking, and occupancy

Additional information
• Guests pay actual gas charges, which is typically more cost-effective than a daily pool-heating fee. Electricity is included up to $200 per month, which usually covers normal usage during the winter months. From May through September, guests pay actual electricity charges.
• The pool and landscaping are professionally maintained during normal daytime hours. Service providers may briefly access the property during your stay.
• The home has not been child-proofed. Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times, especially around the pool. The pool is used at guests' own risk. No lifeguard is on duty.
• Exterior security cameras monitor the outside of the property for guest safety and property security. There are no cameras inside the home or facing the pool. The cameras record video and sound when activated by motion.
• To help preserve the home's flooring and rugs, we kindly ask guests to remove shoes while inside whenever possible.
• Additional operating instructions and local recommendations will be provided before arrival.

Additional rules
• Smoking, vaping, and e-cigarettes are prohibited inside the house. A minimum remediation charge of $250, plus any additional documented cleaning or repair costs, will apply if this policy is violated.
• We are happy to consider pets on a case-by-case basis. Please tell us about your pet when submitting your booking request. Unauthorized pet will result in a minimum remediation charge of $500, plus any additional documented cleaning or repair costs. Due to the homeowner's severe allergies, cats are not allowed at the property.
• Check-out is by 10:00 AM. Unauthorized late departures will incur a minimum charge of $250, plus any additional documented costs resulting from delayed cleaning, staff rescheduling, or impacts on incoming guests.
• No parties, events, commercial activities, or unauthorized gatherings.

Violations of the rules above may result in immediate eviction, termination of the reservation without refund. Guests are fully responsible for any City fines, citations, or penalties related to your stay. Guests will also be charged an additional $1,500 fee.
