Originally built in 1925 and abandoned for more than four decades, this historic Savannah property has been thoughtfully restored into an unforgettable waterfront escape. Featured in Savannah Magazine, the property consists of three unique structures: the original Shrimp Camp, a charming private cottage, and a former bait shack, each carefully reimagined while preserving the character and history that make this property so special.

The main cottage is an open, studio-style space, designed to make the incredible setting the centerpiece of your stay. A chef's kitchen with a large island opens seamlessly into the bright and airy living and sleeping space, while soaring ceilings and expansive windows showcase unobstructed views across the salt marsh and Grays Creek. Original pine ceilings, a striking ballast-stone fireplace, curated furnishings, and thoughtful modern finishes give the cottage a character entirely its own.

Just outside, the experience continues across a large private yard overlooking the marsh, complete with a firepit for evenings spent under the coastal Georgia sky. A private drive adds to the secluded feel, creating a peaceful retreat that feels tucked away while remaining convenient to everything Savannah has to offer.

The separate guest cottage provides additional privacy with its own bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and deck, while the restored bait shack offers one of the property's most unique spaces, a cozy retreat with a picture window perfectly framing the marsh beyond.

We can welcome your dog companions at this pet friendly home, but ask that you find other arrangements for cats, birds, and other furry friends. There is a $130 pet fee (non-refundable) with a 35 lb. maximum weight limit per dog and a limit of 2 dogs per reservation. Some homes may allow larger dogs, please inquire for more information.
