About this house rental

Summary:

A little more room and a little more Savannah sky. Aunt Toren's Room pairs the intimate character of Keystone with something entirely its own: a private rooftop courtyard.

With two queen beds and space for up to four guests, it's made for sharing Savannah with family or friends while still having a private place to step outside and unwind. All of it sits in the heart of downtown, just steps from Broughton Street.

The Space:

Two queen beds, 270 square feet, sleeps up to four guests, with a private rooftop courtyard—the only outdoor guest space at Keystone.

Designed for guests traveling together, Aunt Toren's Room offers more flexibility without losing the intimate feel of the hotel. The private rooftop courtyard gives you your own outdoor space above the heart of downtown Savannah.

Every Keystone room is a curated guest room with a private en-suite bath and no kitchen. Premium linens, blackout window treatments, a sound machine and sunrise alarm, a Marshall Bluetooth speaker, fast Wi-Fi, and digital key access complete the experience.

A second-floor pantry offers complimentary water, cold drinks, and snacks, with Sunday Sunday downstairs.

Guest Access:

Check-in begins at 4:00 PM. Your phone is your key: the YourKey app provides digital access to the hotel entrance and your room, so there is no traditional front-desk check-in or physical key pickup.

The Keystone Hotel entrance is at 28 W State Street, separate from the Sunday Sunday restaurant entrance on Whitaker Street. An elevator serves the guest floors.

The second-floor pantry is stocked with complimentary water, cold drinks, and snacks. Keystone guests are also invited to enjoy a complimentary signature cocktail at Sunday Sunday between 5:00 and 6:00 PM during their stay.

Guests staying in Room 303 also have exclusive access to the room's private rooftop courtyard.

The Neighborhood:

Keystone Hotel is in the heart of Downtown Savannah's Historic District, just steps from Broughton Street. Walk out the door and you're surrounded by Savannah's historic squares, restaurants, boutiques, coffee shops, galleries, and architecture.

City Market, Ellis Square, River Street, and the Savannah riverfront are all within easy walking distance, while Forsyth Park is a scenic walk through the Historic District. Sunday Sunday, our restaurant, is located directly downstairs.

Getting Around:

Savannah's Historic District is made for walking, and Keystone puts you right in the middle of it. From 28 W State Street, many of Savannah's best-known attractions, restaurants, squares, shops, and nightlife can be reached on foot.

Approximate travel times from Keystone:

Broughton Street: about a 2-minute walk

City Market & Ellis Square: about a 5-minute walk

River Street & Savannah Riverfront: about an 8-minute walk

Forsyth Park: about a 15–20-minute walk

Tybee Island Beach: about a 30-minute drive

Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV): about a 20-minute drive

The free DOT shuttle is another convenient way to explore downtown, and rideshare service is readily available for destinations outside the Historic District.

Keystone does not have a private parking lot. A temporary loading zone directly in front of the hotel may be used for unloading for up to 30 minutes, subject to availability. Metered street parking and public garages are available nearby.

Other Things to Note:

Keystone is an intimate 11-room hotel, with each room named for a member of the family and designed with its own personality. Each guest room has a private en-suite bath and no kitchen.

Sunday Sunday, our restaurant downstairs, serves brunch through dinner. Guests also have access to the complimentary second-floor pantry and are invited to enjoy a signature cocktail at Sunday Sunday between 5:00 and 6:00 PM during their stay.

Keystone is located in the heart of downtown Savannah, so some city sound should be expected. Quiet hours inside the hotel are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the building, including at windows, and only registered guests may stay overnight.

Interaction with Guests:

Keystone is designed for a streamlined, independent arrival experience, so there is no traditional front desk or key handoff. Our team is available by message if you need assistance during your stay.

We give you the space to enjoy Savannah at your own pace while remaining available whenever you need us.
